As a cake decorator, let me tell you that you're supposed to move the cake slicer from side to side as you pull it through the cake at a flat angle. You dragged it through, pulling the end of the cake off. On the other hand, the wires did seem very flimsy. Try again with sliding side to side.

You should vaccum seal all important documents for hazard reasons like hurricanes and floods. Keeps them dry and preserved. You should also keep them in a bug out bag if you live in a dangerous zone. I think most people in north America have an actual list of supplies for emergencies that they should keep in case of natural disasters. Japan and other affected countries must have them, too.

Just as a note, when using the dumpling "makers", you're supposed to put a bit of flour on the inside of the dough. Then, dip your finger in water and "wipe" the water around the border where the dough will be pressed. Then, the pastry will stick easier. Another, arguably more important reason is that these products tend to come from factories where the working conditions are incredibly inhumane, the people making these products are not paid a liveable wage, and in some cases they may not be paid at all, and there's no protection with Wish dot com that you're not buying a product that has roots in child labour. Spend the extra money if you can afford to, you get what you pay for not just in the product itself, but you make sure everything who helped make the product was compensated and treated fairy. It infuriated me that Barry would comment on the quality, these items are cheap because they are assembled from cheap materials by people being taken advantage of for maximum profit on small upfront costs to consumers. Wish is a symptom of the deadly side of mass production, fast fashion and novelty consumerism. I'm not trying to be preachy, thought I realise I am, this is a very serious human rights issue, maybe we need to preach.

My mom has a very very VERY old vaccum food scealer. In Canada we have milk that comes in bags, (look it up, it's true!) And she would keep the empty bags after washing them and fill it with her spagetti sauce. It fits a little more than a big masson jar and having a familly of 5 that worked out perfectly for us. To this day it still works wonderfuly ! This is a great item to purchase and if you remember to use it you can use it alot !! I split up my chicken breasts into batches of 2 and separate my steaks before freezing them so i deff would use this gadget ALOT ! Good buy in my opinion.

This holds true for all Chinese discount web-shops. Their copyright laws are extremely lax (or non existent with certain products) and with government subsidized shipping original cannot compete with price. People will still buy their low quality knock offs just like they hire the cheapest contractors to build bridges and roads that's just how it is. There have been a lot of KZbinrs lately advertising for Wish through these kinds of haul videos. Even if it isn't "sponsored" it's still indirect encouragement to go check out their site. I'm just not sure how I feel about their business practices and their products. I know there's a lot of places out there that are buoyed by unethical practices, ones that are hard to avoid especially in underpopulated areas without a lot of choice, so I guess I feel like not giving attention to the ones we CAN avoid - like Wish - is all for the better. But I also realize that you need to make a living, too.

Juliet Robinson It does depend on what you're looking for. It's awesome for nail stamping plates. Some companies (born pretty) are from Asia, and wish is sometimes a better source than the company. Thing is, you're often getting the same stuff from Amazon etc. It's just another source.

That’s a perogi maker, not a dumpling maker. Dough out side with potato filling. They are generally boiled the cook the dough. When I make them there is flour, egg, water, and salt in the dough and potatoes, onions, butter, and cabbage in the filling.

I kinda don't think so although I'm not 100% sure I've always seen everyone else do it in one straight direction (meaning no back and forth movement(?)) Plus if you do it in a back and forth movement It makes the cake kinda rough or just not smooth Which isn't really ideal

Yes, Ken is correct. Water and flour is all we use. I normally use a stand mixer to knead the dough. My grandma uses a knife to mix it together. Once the bowl looks clean after mixing the dough together it is ready to roll out.
