To use that grater left handed, hold it so the handle is up. The right hand is squeezing the cheese into the grater, and the shredded cheese falls out the bottom.

The half of the avocado in the gadget is better than the other half not due to the gadget, but due to the core being left in. You often recognize high quality homemage quacamole by the cores being in the bowl still, and if you want to safe a piece of avocado for later, always store it with the core. I am often at parties with some friends from latin america that really pride themselves on their guacamole and absolutely always bring it with the cores in the bowl. Has something to do with enzymes, aparently.keeps the consistency and prevents/slows down browning.

We had a cheese grater like that in the 80s. Was great to play with as a kid. Ours was plastic (with metal grater bits). I genuinely miss it. It works better if you have the hole facing down (so you rotate on the top) because you can control where the cheese falls out. The best part was always the little wedge of cheese you were left with at the end. BTW, it is BRILLIANT for shaving chocolate!

I love how Barry cleaning up results in more mess than Barry not cleaning.

My grandma used to have a cheese grater like that when I was little. Probably about 30 years old back then 😂😂

Those brush things that go in the drill would be great in the bathroom cleaning the tile

Eat the side without the seed first, the seed will keep the avocado from browning as fast! If you make guacamole, put the seed back in it. Keeps it fresh longer!

It's a steamer basket. The foot things keep the bottom off the bottom of the pot. It's also horribly cheaply made. :) Also if you gently rub flour over the sheet of pastry... ah, there you go. I think you've got it. Also chill the dough well after rolling it out, but before rolling the thingy over it.

that cheese grater thing is actually what we use to make marzipan during christmas (we have a proper old sturdy one) you put the almonds through it and add that dusty sugar thingy

For the pastry wheel (for mini pies), on half the rolled out dough use the lattice wheel, add the filling to the other half and fold over the open lattice.. makes it a lot easier 😊
