Quick tip, so counterintuitively 70% rubbing alcohols work better to disinfect than the higher 90% ones. The rest of it is usually water, which helps it evaporate slower allowing for the alcohol to penetrate better to denature the proteins and kill the microbes better.
@greaseball953712 сағат бұрын
quick counter tip but the reason for the 90%or higher even is the quicker evaporation and less conductivity when cleaning electronics, also note that even with high % alcohol power and batteries should be removed if possible and always allow at least 30 min of off time or battery out time before doing it to allow any capacitors to properly discharge any voltages.

@krackergrit14 сағат бұрын
I do believe braided line doesn't stretch like mono and has more strength and mono does stretch depends on what ur fishing for
@JB-eb6zh14 сағат бұрын
Braided line has a smaller diameter compared to mono. Like 50 pound mono vs 50 braid, the braid is much smaller. It also has almost no “stretch” to it, leading to firmer hooksets. It also won’t get pinched and create weak points like mono. Only downside it that if you’re fishing docks or rough habitat it is prone to fraying and breaking. Usually used specifically for worm fishing to help with the hook set. It needs to be firmer to help with the resistance of the hook having to force itself through the worm before getting to the fish.

You probably have to hold the button down a number of seconds to change options and it might even have different functions by different times its held down for the toilet light.

Monofilament line can stretch, and is more resistant to abrasions. Braid is very prone to break against abrasive surfaces, but it has no stretch. And also casts much further. In my opinion braid is much better.

I’d use the paint brush cover for keeping my clean brushes. No more bent bristles

there actually is a way for you to test if the phone soap does anything. it's called an agar kit, i think. you use a cotton swab on your phone, then rub it on the little plate, then you put the phone in the device, once you take it out, you swab the phone again with another plate, then you just wait. the first plate should show what kinda looks like mold, and the second plate should be basically clean if the device actually did work

The weather pod works as intended 😂 its not supposed to be water proof, people sit inside it and you know, the whole breathing thing. It will stop you from being directly rained on though. As long as youre sitting in a chair and your shoes dont get soaked youll be fine, and having the foresight to bring it with you id assume you would also prepare with the proper shoes/clothes.

I hooked one of those lights around a banister so it lights the stairs when I climb them. It lasts about a year before it needs recharging.

Phone soap thing is actually scientific for killing germs and stuff with UV but yeah I can't see it removing grime or anything so you'd still have to clean it normally anyway.

By not repeatingly pushing the button if you read the instructions it says push it once to keep consistent color. Which means if your pushing it twice it's going from changing colors to constant color. Try pushing it once if it stays same color when lights go out then turn lights on push just once more then it will rotate colors when lights go out

it makes sense tyler those lights YOU don't want them to be super bright UV C light has the same danger rating as a laser DONT LOOK AT IT! it will blind you, the case is designed to not turn on until closed so its not a blinding hazard. Plus the "dim" light works because whats being sanitized is very close to the light source and the concave design behind each light reflects the light across the entire surface. If you want to test this in the future there are cheap labs that will send you peitry dishes that you can sawb a unclean phone and then swab the uv phone and send it in for results. In the future DO NOT TAMPER WITH SAFETY DEVICES OF THINGS LIKE UV LIGHTS OR LASERS THEY ARE A BLINDING HAZARD!!

Be careful of cleaning your phone or other electronics with alcohol. I used to do that, but I found out that it slowly dissolves the glue and sealers that help to keep your devices rattle free and water resistant. It does take some time, but I’ve ruined a pair of AirPods, and a phone screen seal using alcohol. Just a heads up. 👍

While yes braid and mono fishing line may have the same ratings, braid is a lot slimmer by lb making for an easier cast, while mono and fluorocarbon line is more invisible in the water, also it’s cheaper to produce. Braid has very minimal stretch, while mono and fluro have a lot of give in the line. Pros and cons for each. A lot of people will go with a braided main line with a mono 6-8ft leader to get the best of both worlds. Also braid above 100lbs is kind of redundant. At that point a lot of people will just go to steel wire for offshore fishing (sharks n stuff)

Tyler: How the toilet thing works, once its on leave it & it will change colours slowly, once you find the colour you wan't press the button & it will stay that colour, they work well just don;'t knock it in the toilet.

When I worked at a hospital, we used a UV light machine to kill c-diff. So yeah, UV light DOES work.
