Not really. Continued and long exposure to black lights (UVA) will cause irritation or temporary blindness. What Tyler here did is negligible to do anything. FYI, UVA is the least harmful type of UV radiation and doesn't even make it past our atmosphere.

"I mean, look at this thing." Yea... maybe, don't? That UV light is enclosed in opaque shell for a reason, you can get eye damage from looking at it, people at "ApeFest" festival got temporary blinded and had sore eyes because they had UV lights instead of normal lights in toilets. You can do whatever, of course, I am just informing you.

The idea is that you press the button the Illumibowl, and it'll start to slowly change colors. Once you find the color you want, you hit the button again. You didn't give it enough time to start scrolling through. ALLL of that being said, I had to google that and they really should have included some kind of instructions because that's pretty damned obtuse for something that's supposed to come on at 2 am when you just really need to pee.

Not exactly, some people have been able to see uv light after getting the protective film, name escapes me atm, of their eye removed due to eye conditions, they describe everything, a famous painter even did a few pieces to show people what the world looked like to him after the surgery. Also alot of animals can see UV, a housecat for example can see uv, i believe humans are one of the exceptions to this.

There's no filter. It's just what the visible part of the spectrum of a mercury vapor lamp looks like. The main part of it is not visible, which is why it seems dim - and can still damage your eyes. Most of it is UVC, which mainly damages the surface, so your eyes can become itchy.

It's also proof that tyler doesn't realize that normal people can't see UV light. In all likelihood it was extremely bright but tyler couldn't see it, the blue was just the leftover heat radiation that was going through the bulb on the visible spectrum.

Quick tip, so counterintuitively 70% rubbing alcohols work better to disinfect than the higher 90% ones. The rest of it is usually water, which helps it evaporate slower allowing for the alcohol to penetrate better to denature the proteins and kill the microbes better.
@greaseball9537
@greaseball9537 12 сағат бұрын
quick counter tip but the reason for the 90%or higher even is the quicker evaporation and less conductivity when cleaning electronics, also note that even with high % alcohol power and batteries should be removed if possible and always allow at least 30 min of off time or battery out time before doing it to allow any capacitors to properly discharge any voltages.

Braided line has a smaller diameter compared to mono. Like 50 pound mono vs 50 braid, the braid is much smaller. It also has almost no “stretch” to it, leading to firmer hooksets. It also won’t get pinched and create weak points like mono. Only downside it that if you’re fishing docks or rough habitat it is prone to fraying and breaking. Usually used specifically for worm fishing to help with the hook set. It needs to be firmer to help with the resistance of the hook having to force itself through the worm before getting to the fish.

I don't personally use the pods, but my wife does and you'll see dozens/hundreds of them at baseball and softball events. Especially when it's cold. Body heat warms it up to the point it needs opened to cool off and you can just open the zipper a little as a viewing port. Waterproof....may be not, but a mist it should be fine. Typically when it's raining we're leaving the fields and/or the wind is really high anyway and you'd put it away. You sit off to the side with these too or you'll block other people's views.

At 19:00 it was a little hard to cut because you weren’t using braid. Braid and mono/fluorocarbon line have different thickness so it that’s why it was hard

18:25 braided line is able to get the same poundage while being about half as thick as mono So in theory, 100lb braided line is as thick as 50lb mono line It also has no/very little stretch, unlike mono It's also harder to cut. I can cut mono with my teeth no problem, but any of my braided lines I need to use a blade

All "grit" soaps work better dry to do the work, then wet to wash it away. I use standard dirt all the time. It removes gas smell better than anything else. Dirt works!

The “blue” light that you see is only the visible light radiation that that type of bulb emits. The UV that comes out of a dim looking bulb like that is insane. You can only see a little bit of blue light because our eyes are unable to perceive the wavelength of light that is being emitted. 15:16

The UV phone cleaner. IF it's actually putting out any real UV, it would sanitize a phone. Also, its VERY bad for your eyes, and not great on your skin. I work in a hospital. ONE of the things they do to clean the OR's is wheel in this thing with 6 4 foot UV bulbs (which are rather expensive) around it, and leave it on for a while. They have to post do not enter signs on the door while they're doing it. It has both a start and stop timer. The big thing is looking at it. It will damage your eyes WAY faster than your skin.

We had one of those toilet bowl lights, it was a gimic and we got rid of it shortly after purchasing. Glad I bought it on wish for $4, I didn't lose any real money on it. All it did was attract a lot of the urines, when the grandson would come visit with poor aim. As for the cleaning wipes, there are already companies out there that sell buckets of these wipes , 1 side is abrasive the other is softer. I use them for my RV and when working on my truck. Supposed to be waterless but you do get a film on your hands after use so I always run them under water after. Fast orange is by far the best hand soap with pumas in it.

I was going to say something similar. In certain towns here in eastern MA they're illegal so who knows how long it'll be before they're hard, or even, impossible to get everywhere. It really irritates me too because I use them for a variety of things. And, because I walk with a cane, it's a lot easier to carry something in one of the plastic bags as opposed to the brown paper ones.

Monofilament line can stretch, and is more resistant to abrasions. Braid is very prone to break against abrasive surfaces, but it has no stretch. And also casts much further. In my opinion braid is much better.

there actually is a way for you to test if the phone soap does anything. it's called an agar kit, i think. you use a cotton swab on your phone, then rub it on the little plate, then you put the phone in the device, once you take it out, you swab the phone again with another plate, then you just wait. the first plate should show what kinda looks like mold, and the second plate should be basically clean if the device actually did work

The weather pod works as intended 😂 its not supposed to be water proof, people sit inside it and you know, the whole breathing thing. It will stop you from being directly rained on though. As long as youre sitting in a chair and your shoes dont get soaked youll be fine, and having the foresight to bring it with you id assume you would also prepare with the proper shoes/clothes.

By not repeatingly pushing the button if you read the instructions it says push it once to keep consistent color. Which means if your pushing it twice it's going from changing colors to constant color. Try pushing it once if it stays same color when lights go out then turn lights on push just once more then it will rotate colors when lights go out

it makes sense tyler those lights YOU don't want them to be super bright UV C light has the same danger rating as a laser DONT LOOK AT IT! it will blind you, the case is designed to not turn on until closed so its not a blinding hazard. Plus the "dim" light works because whats being sanitized is very close to the light source and the concave design behind each light reflects the light across the entire surface. If you want to test this in the future there are cheap labs that will send you peitry dishes that you can sawb a unclean phone and then swab the uv phone and send it in for results. In the future DO NOT TAMPER WITH SAFETY DEVICES OF THINGS LIKE UV LIGHTS OR LASERS THEY ARE A BLINDING HAZARD!!

Be careful of cleaning your phone or other electronics with alcohol. I used to do that, but I found out that it slowly dissolves the glue and sealers that help to keep your devices rattle free and water resistant. It does take some time, but I’ve ruined a pair of AirPods, and a phone screen seal using alcohol. Just a heads up. 👍

While yes braid and mono fishing line may have the same ratings, braid is a lot slimmer by lb making for an easier cast, while mono and fluorocarbon line is more invisible in the water, also it’s cheaper to produce. Braid has very minimal stretch, while mono and fluro have a lot of give in the line. Pros and cons for each. A lot of people will go with a braided main line with a mono 6-8ft leader to get the best of both worlds. Also braid above 100lbs is kind of redundant. At that point a lot of people will just go to steel wire for offshore fishing (sharks n stuff)
