But pvp is a different story entirely. It's funny you say that though, since in my experience, Swift Slash is the exact opposite. Broken in pvp, but damn near worthless in pve. I tried using it briefly, and the damage was pathetic. Tbf I didn't put bleed/frost on them though, so maybe that's the reason.

It sucks the games are so fun but the PvP is the most mundane thing. Sure you can get a good fight but it’s only when they want to play by the same rules you do. Fought a fair few death knight builds in PvP and rarely did I think it was a good fight. They just spam their ash of war lol. To each their own tho I’m just not a fan of going thru 15 terrible match ups just to get 1 good one if I’m lucky

I saw him beat him on stream, it was pretty disappointing since he used mimic and respec to cheese. Even someone like me who is playing elden ring for his first souls game beat dlc's final boss solo. Sure it took me 6 hours, but I learned how to dodge every single one of his attacks during that time. That shows the fight isnt unfair like zanny claims plus I can claim that my elden lore is that my tarnished defeated everything by himself, unfortunately zanny cannot say the same. I would be too ashamed to use remembrance after cheesing bosses with mimic, but since I solo'd everything in the game I can use boss weapons proudly, they were earned
