Great to see you back, I too had a mini stroke aged 48, that was 10yrs ago. Just follow the drs orders, take your meds religiously and take it easy. It’s a slow road but definitely worth it. Can’t wait to see the new ideas and projects and get in my workshop to try some.

I, too, had a stroke going on two years ago. All I can say is that it's a slow process, but take it a day at a time. Slow is fast with a goal in sight. I wish you the best of success in your recovery. A final thought: the brain is fantastic in the recovery phase. Jean

Jean, I just want to echo the sentiments from others whom have said that you are proof that you can't keep a good man down, especially when he's so passionate about something. I have watched 1000's of KZbin videos for a number of years and have only made 1 other post besides this one. I first came across your channel back in late 2019/2020 when the pandemic hit and was looking at ideas of how to transform 1/2 of my 2 car garage into a functioning woodworking shop. You have been my go to guy with inspiring me to come up with creative ways to maximize my storage and functionality. I am currently a few years from retirement, have made progress on my shop design and I am in the process putting those plans into action. I hope that by the time I retire, my shop will be complete and I would like to jump into the next phase of my life by joining the KZbin community with valuable content of my own. The inspiration you have been to me and others is unfathomable when it comes to being the average working Joe, working hard at balancing family & job with utilizing the talents that God has given you, while so many other's on KZbin do not show that side of them. You bring the human aspect to this community. I too have the same struggles and most of the time it leaves very little time for woodworking. I will continue to watch for your videos and look forward to incorporating your ideas and creativity into my own shop. Stay healthy and know that your subscribers will be here waiting for you when you are healthy. From West Virginia, happy woodworking.

My friend, my workshop is a double garage. It houses: * A bakkie and a car (5%of the space) * My workshop stuff (5% of the space) * My wife’s stuff 99% of the space) No, I did not make a calculation error above. My project for 2024 is to get my workbench back. Good luck for your endeavours for 2024! #TheStruggleIsReal

I would happily support you based on the videos you made in the past year, even without a monthly video. You're one of the most innovative DIY-level woodworking channels out there, with most others clearly having grown past doing it as a hobby, and I appreciate you greatly for that. It's just very hard to relate to videos by woodworkers who work fulltime in a production shop or explicitly make only educational content, as most of them don't remember the struggle of having only the necessary tools and very limited space. Your angle is unique, and with your very efficient format it makes for some incredibly engaging content. I hate the idea of you getting burnt out having to make an extra video for members every month. I would at most aim for every other or every three months, and call anything beyond that a bonus. Like I said, even without those added videos I would happily support you. Not making a promise you can't keep long-term should make it clear to everyone that they're just giving you money for the entertainment and learning you provide! Edit: To add to this, you should really see what projects around your house you could also make a video out of! Even if it's not directly wood working related, I would happily watch you do some random house maintenance stuff, even in a less edited format. Not every video has to be a banger, in fact KZbin's algorithm even favors quantity over quality. Making it clear which content is 'filler' or uploading it to a second channel would give you a good way to engage with your audience with less effort required. Hope you make a speedy recovery, take care and do what's best for you!
