Great job !!! Can't beat older machines - so much cast iron and built to last a lifetime. What happened to the hand wheels for rise and fall and angle? those knobs will not work very well in practice.

Rather than gas lifts I am looking at a pully system to raise and lower it just a single pully reduces 50 percent of the weight. Some dry lubricant on the pivoting part of the PVC pipe

Near the end about 22 min he shows some holders on the open panel holding the squares and metal rulers that look magnetic, can you share a source for those or did you 3D print them? Thanks

Isn't storing lumber in your garage an issue with temp/humidity or is it a heated garage?

This is an amazingly simple yet very useful idea. it works great for both Power cords, and also for Air compressor hoses as well. Thank for such a great idea to make the workshop cleaner (less obstacles on the floor.)

Sacrificial wood isn’t necessary to cut the the guide strip. It is stiff enough. What you may gain by using backing wood is to keep the trimmed-off guide strip pieces from flying about. They’ll go a distance-wear a face shield. Or just just the backing wood. If your saw has dust capture you’re ahead of the game. 😅 Also, don’t go beyond ‘snug’ for the set screws on the track joiners. ‘Good and tight’ can move the tracks vertically and create a tiny lip at the joint where the saw will have to be slightly lifted to clear. In one direction, anyway. Easily remedied, but best not to over-tighten with any of these aluminum pieces. I like this tool. Repeat cuts on plywood have never been quicker and cleaner.

If i want to put this into a bare concrete BASEMENT wall, would i need to allow space in the back of the wall or some sort of vents so that the concrete can breathe and not produce moisture?

I have a very small shop so I love your builds. But I can't recommend getting yourself an impact driver enough! Screws with a drill is just so inefficient. There is no comparison. Trust me, bite the bullet and get yourself a decent driver!

Adding a backer board to the leg behind the table extension on the left side as you look at it will help transfer what load there is off the hinge and onto the boards like the right side is doing.

For the sliding top portion of the bench, I was initially wondering if a very small cut-out to give your fingers something to grab onto when you attempt to slide it, but then I thought that you'd likely prefer to keep the top as smooth as possible. Then I thought about some type of pop-up handle that would stay flat until pressed to activate it. I thought about this as you seemed to slightly struggle when you went to display the sliding function. Beyond that, I love your builds! Keep up the great content!
