WOW!!!!! Brandon that flounder!!! I've never seen one over 20! We used to go floundering out front of our condo in Long Beach Miss. Stuffed with crab and shrimp, absolutely delicious. Probably the one fish I miss the most. Great video as always and thanks so much for taking us along! ❤

Brandon, I saw the whole video and let me tell you I learned how to debone the flatster. I had it wrong. Great video, great personality and a absolute change of scenery from over here down in the deepest point of the lower laguna madre, South Padre Island. Cheers my friend 🍻 New sub here 🙏🏼

That's what you call a certified doormat! I saw one at a taxidermy shop in the 80"s in Port Orange Florida that weighed 22 lbs. It was caught in Matanzas Inlet just south of St. Augustine. Mr. Woodard told the man he would mount it for free if he let him have the meat which he did. That man never returned to pick up his mounted fish.

I really like how you were trying to work the hook out of that flounder's mouth. Even knowing you landed it ahead of time I was cringing as you tried to work the snag loose. Awesome catch.

Get some “please release me” and add that to the livewell with them big fish and it’ll help them recover and stop some bleeding as long as it’s not to bad. I know they usually feel better than before you caught em it seems like sometimes.

High tide for sure. I like a falling tide. Not a huge fan of low water, but there are certain areas that do well on a low tide.

I live in sw Florida n I was 10 miles offshore on a grouper spot I have n I caught my pb flounder it was 33in long I'm guessing bout 9lbs maybe a little more

THE 1 MINUTE PER INCH DEFINITELY DOESNT ADD UP....HA ! I BAKE 16" TO 18" FLOUNDER THAT TAKES A GOOD 30 PLUS MINUTES INCLUDING SELF PREPARED STUFFING THAT INCLUSDES BUTTER, BREAD CRUMBS, ONIONS AND BASIL. SIMPLE AND FANTASTIC THAT HAS THAT New Orleans FLAVOR!

@@BamaRockstar85 you can’t be serious right now. You can tell in the video I was getting ready to set the hook , but didn’t feel the weight move towards me and that’s when I thought I had a snag. I then tried moving it again before I ran over top of it and felt a tug.
