I’ve been picking up hoodies and they’re doing well. It seemed risky but their sell through is still doing well. I’m thinking because they’re lighter weight and depending on the brand and/ or graphic it will fly off the shelf.

White Stag is one of those brands that once, long ago was a reputable brand. Same with OP. I recently found a pair of like 1970s OP corduroy shorts. NWT- they sold for about $75 Not sure why brands commit suicide but they do. Well I do know why, for a few profitable quarters.

Generally, the word "size" isn't necessary in a title. I also don't put mens or womens in the title because the thing is listed under the correct men's or women's category, which is where they'd be searching anyway. Use that valuable real estate for important keywords, not unnecessary ones.

Agreed. But we find it helps to be clear with our buyers about the size in our titles.

Not unless it's needed. Most items are donated washed and most buyers will wash before wearing. We do have a steamer.

I picked an old navy piece up because of one of her other videos and it got instant attention. Only listed for about a week and there are quite a few views and a couple of watchers which was pleasantly surprising. We'll see!

No, doing that is called search manipulation and you can actually get in trouble with ebay for doing that.

This is the hardest part of listing for me because I don’t have space and so am having to bend over my bed. It’s a whole different ball game when you live in a small apartment.

@@LJack-ck8uhI'm dealing with the same situation, living in a small cabin. I've tried different set-ups (Including on the bed, and yes, it was killing my back, lol). Then a friend gave me an old drop-leaf table that she no longer needs. I keep it at the foot of my bed, with one leaf kept permanently down (against the bed footboard), and the other leaf I put in the "up" position when I do flat-lay photos. I put 3 screws into the top of my bedroom door frame, from which I hang an old white sheet for my hanging photos. Hope these ideas are helpful to you.

Do you find that prioritizing some of the fields over the others when creating an Ebay listing leads to more consistent sales? For example, filling out “theme” over “fit” or “seasons”. I plow through most of them pretty quickly but often wonder if I can be working smarter not harder. Thanks!

I've learned which ones seem to matter and which ones don't. I skip the ones that don't seem to matter to save time. Sometimes on the desktop draft page it will tell you how many people are searching for that drop down. That's how I learned over time.

When you fill out the item specifics do you think it matters if some are left blank? I didn’t think so but then I read on a forum that it does indeed make a difference.

It's better to leave them blank if you can't choose a drop down that applies.

You can but I don't believe it makes a difference. The info is already being pulled through search in the title.

Thanks for sharing your process! As far as titles, do you always include "size" in the title, and do you find it has helped increase sales? Also, do you typically not prep items? I'm a Virgo with OCD and ADD, so I get really stuck on steaming everything, perfectly balanced color/lit photos, white backgrounds, and it eats up so much of my time! UGH. I want to list faster, but the prep just kills me. Lastly, do you list first in ebay, then import up to Vendoo and crosslist to the other platforms? Thanks so much for your time!

We do include the word size. I'm not sure if it helps in the search algorithm but it helps our buyers know what they are getting. We do prep if needed (like washing or steaming) but most items don't need it. We use List Perfectly and we do ebay>LP>Poshmark

Thank you for creating this video. I have learned so much from you. I’m curious why you didn’t use the ‘Theme’ dropdown box for some of the keywords. Also, I noticed you skipped over and did not completely fill in eBay’s listing template. I thought it was best to fill in as much as you can in order to maximize exposure for your listing? I take so long to make sure I complete as much as I can and would really like to skip over some of that stuff it if it doesn’t help to increase sales. Thanks again for sharing your reselling journey 😊

It's definitely beneficial to fill in as many as you can. There are some that I know the drop down won't be accurate so I choose to leave it blank. Others, I know it doesn't make a big impact on the search so I choose to save time by also leaving it blank. Not sure on your screen, but on mine it will sometimes show how many people are actually searching that drop down. That's how I learned which ones were important to fill in and which ones weren't.
