Randy, I agree with you with on the information regarding the tournament circuit. You are out of touch with reality when it comes to the economy. Although there have been some gains in the stock market, it has been strictly specialty and unique stocks and they have all been, essentially boosted by the inflation. Money printed by the govt. The inflation factor does not make a gain of actual value because the dollar is worth much less. In addition to that the cost of groceries alone where I live, which is near you have doubled. Also, the cost of fuel which was triple the cost is still now over twice as high as it was four years ago. The economy has not been good. I’m hoping for a change and a great reduction in inflation.

It might not be correlated to FFS or maybe it is, but I’ve commented plenty of times about how most people, and also failing business models have not capitalized on these strong markets. If people invested heavily they would have, but if there is no money then there is no way to participate. The federal reserve has continued to create money (fiat) out of thin air to such an extent that wages fell behind massively. Technology in conjunction with a free market should be deflationary by making the production of things we consume better and cheaper. But because they are destroying the value of our money it takes more and more money to buy products that are worse quality in a lot of cases, than they were years ago. The only reason the US dollar is “strong” is because it’s only relative to the other countries currencies. If you put our dollar up against anything deemed valuable with a fixed supply our dollar is the weakest it’s ever been. (PRETTY OBVIOUS WHEN BITCOIN IS $100,000) If the country was actually prospering instead of the Fed creating the illusion of success by making sure there’s cash flowing we would see massive wages, lower taxes, lower deficit etc.

How is the FFS different from the use of POLARIZED SUNGLASSES? Should polarized sunglasses also be considered cheating and banned from Bassmaster? FFS increases the ability to see fish under the surface, which otherwise would not be visible AFTER the fisherman uses their know-how to get to the point of fishing. It's not like the fisherman uses the FFS when riding at 60mph to get to the fishing hole. All this FFS hate is illogical given that all of you accept to have a car, a motorized boat, an air conditioner, ... polarized glasses, etc. All people against FFS are cherry-peaking what is acceptable; generation after generation, history is full of examples like this type of pushback in the face of human evolution.
@BassholeByNatureFishingАй бұрын
Name a pair of shades that lets you see 100 feet down is any water condition. FFS isn’t analog is digital. And anything digital enhances and creates a edge or advantage. Shades do create an advantage but the shades aren’t interpreting the data for you,,, the shades are gonna give you a small ability gain over your natural skills. FFS requires little skill,, it’s why people who fish without it can use it and still catch fish but people who use it and fish without it can’t replicate same numbers if having it. It’s a crutch, one must learn to walk on a crutch but one shouldn’t depend on it. Just makes your skills dull!!!
@danbasara4547Ай бұрын
Yet another RIDICULOUS whataboutism in defense of FFS. Polarized sunglasses? GTFOH. Why is it so hard for some people to comprehend that at some point too much technology is detrimental to sports? There's a concept called "fair chase", you should take some time and learn what it's about.
@iBaloo42Ай бұрын
@@danbasara4547 That's not whataboutism. It's just logic. Both polarized glasses and FFS allows a fisherman to extend their ability to see fish and structure in the water, beyond their natural abilities. "Too much technology" was considered at any time during history; referring to this, is not whataboutism, but I'm explaining human nature). You probably got mature when polarized glasses existed already, so you accepted that technology. Probably the youngsters of the new generation will accept the FFS as existing technology and they will complain at their time when something like a air drone will scan a whole lake and show exactly where the fish is even launching the boat on the water. Probably, someone in 1800' would consider the use of a motor a gross violation of "fair chase"... If competition fairness is your problem, then you should not be as the rules are applicable to everybody. If diminishing the bass population is your concern, then become an activist to stop fishing pre- and during spawning. FFS' impact on diminishing population is miniscule comparing to this, increase of instant knowledge through KZbin and the increase of number of fisherman.
