If Genna loves that Cockatiel so much so that she is in tears. They should be together! Anything else is not acceptable. *If I had a girlfriend & I saw tears in her eyes.....I would run miles to find that bird and won't rest until I make her smile again. I hope her boyfriend makes an effort.*

Can't understand why be with someone who doesn't love animals and birds 🐦 and your so afraid 😨 of bringing one home ~ sounds controlling to me! I know EXACTLY how Genna felt and her tears 😢. Went through that same pain years ago when I fell in love with this Sun Conure baby, went every day just to be with it. I knew I needed to stop going as I couldn't afford it. Went home crying 😢 (mind you I was around mid 40's and carring for my parents) kept to myself until my Mom said "in a couple of months it's your birthday 🎂 and Christmas 🎄the next ~ we're going to buy that bird 🐦 for both of them." I'm in my 60's now, my parents died 5 years ago ~ that 'bird' Cosmo, was and is, my saving grace!💞 Say what you may, but crying is NOT manipulative!!! 😡 It's ❤ heartfelt!

I can not believe your sister did not get that little bird she loved so much. You were right about testing the relationship. Birds and dogs are HER LOVES! What is she going to do if she stays with him? She's giving up a MAJOR PART OF WHAT MAKES HER HAPPY!!! Better to lose him than to LOSE HERSELF! There will be other men THAT ABSOLUTELY LOVES DOGS AND BIRDS!!! AND WOULD LOVE HER NO MATTER WHAT!!!

Genna, I completely understand wanting to take home a critter so much it brings tears! Except I was called a whole bunch of names by my ex-husband's sister for it. Knowing that you cannot take on any more responsibility...I also understand. Time is a huge issue! And you are SOOO busy with school, work, Jersey, b-friend, family...the list goes on and on! The finches though, those two will still bring so much joy to listen to without having to worry about time or cheating on sweet lil' Jersey. You are a great parent and friend to all critters!

I don't quite get it. Genna can have a cockateil. 1.She lives with you. She helps you with all of your pets I bet, so of course you and George would help her with hers. 2. Cockateils are a lot easier to handle and take care of than any of the 5 you have. 3. If her boyfriend won't let her have it, then he isn't the man for her because Genna can't live a life without birds.

I don't know why I am so emotional right now after watching this! For Genna probably! I have a Cockatiel named Romeo, a Lovebird named Pico and a Conure named Rainbow :) I had my Cockatiel first 3 years ago from an old coworker and he helped me get through the rough ends of Nursing School :) I love my birds so much and in general. They make me so happy!!!! That's why I'm crying too lol

My husband and I had a beautiful pair of finches many years ago. We had a crazy female roommate who absolutely hated their happy sounds. We woke up one morning and both of the little dears were dead. We never knew how she did it. She was also a kleptomaniac, but murdering those innocent birds was the absolute worst.

Jenna’s dad is like my mom can’t take her anywhere without her adopting an animal. Said we were going to just LOOK at dogs came home with a dog and my dad was there too so that’s really surprising that he went along with it!

You can tell that your birds are well taken care of and loved VERY MUCH. And your birds I know love you too and thank you every day. Like Cody thanks you every day for getting him or else he might still be out in the cold or worse but you got him so now he has a happy forever home Rocky should thank you for getting him into empire🤣 Jersey thanks you for helping her with her plucking problem and not giving up Vinny thanks you for getting him too because he was an aggressive bird and you always believed he could be a better bird and you got him to be such a sweet bird and Picasso just thanks you for everything you do for him and George he LOVES YOU EVERYDAY FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID FOR HIM🙂😊 I know this is really long sorry

I think Jersey was really taking the whole thing in when you walked in the place. She was just being very cool, not freaked out. You can see her little mind just going behind those eyes. I can really see why people want this type of bird but Jersey in one in a thousand. She is unique and much more engaged with you. What I've observed is that people try to make fun with their bird like "play time" and then it over, but with Jersey she just does whatever you're down and it's just fine with her. Like she is a person going along for the ride.
