It's really kind of easy Basically if you're a cranky agitated person on the cruise chances are you're a cranky agitated person in reality off the cruise so if you do you then you're not an agitated person and you know how to just chill and relax you'd have a great time. That being said , I have had to beat the brakes off somebody once or twice on the top deck . What kind of a foreigner is going to expect to run their mouth to a teenager from New York City and not Catch hands. #Internationalwhoopin Again we were teenagers and he probably said something like I'll beat the s*** out of you. That was 20 years ago 2022 people probably have the right state of mind to not tell someone they're going to beat the s*** out of them. I would hope. But it's Honestly was always a good time until covid but I stopped going on cruises in like 04, So I don't have a good perspective on what the passengers are like these days

I’m the only one that is going to talk about your “shoilet”. Not an RVer are you? No big deal. In the RV business what you were looking at is called a wet bath. You see these on in-bed truck campers, very small trailers, like Airstream Bambis, Class B camper vans, and the folks that do #vanlife and have either built a travel van or have purchased a bespoke camper van. Total toilet in the shower situation. So the opposite of that is called a dry bath, but you don’t usually hear that language when looking at RVs, you don’t usually hear of the dry bath reference unless the rig you are getting would not normally have a dry bath, like a truck camper, then it is a feature. I’m going to have to keep “shoilet” in my back pocket when I talk with my RV friends.

Some people when they see a camera, even if it's not aimed at them, have a thought process that it will be aimed at them at some point. Some people just are wired weird and freak about cameras, even if they're not in the frame.

It was so nice running into you on this cruise! You are such a kind and approachable person. I have been on Paradise and Pride (all out of Tampa) many many times! Unfortunately I saw some bad behavior as well, and I think you hit the nail on the head! They are cheap cruises attracting those who have never cruised, and / or people that don't have the ability to travel much or at all. It sort of reminds me of the "SPRING BREAK" mentality,...The feeling of being let out of the cage for the first time. But I will say, for myself the ship Pride out of Tampa was the ship I took my first cruise on, and where I feel in LOVE with cruising. We picked a cheap short cruise because we thought we would hate it. So with that said the cheaper smaller cruises do serve a bigger purpose. All we have ever cruised on is Carnival, we will be on Mardi Gras in Jan, however I'm going to take your advice and try another cruise line,....any thoughts as to what line and ship out of Tampa.

The food in the buffet wasn’t great but the burgers, pizza, and bbq place were decent. The Dinning room dining was pretty good. Now the thing I was impressed with was there was a ton of stuff to do. Your review of the carnival paradise ship was very informative for me personally. My first time on carnival will be the paradise out of Tampa in February and your review was very helpful. The little things like getting on board the ship was what I needed to see. Your other comments about the rudeness and then the other extreme of the friendliness is a cross-section of people in general, sadly. Some people just like drama. Overall I think most people are good at heart. I do like your reviews of your cruising experiences. They are informative and help me to navigate around the cruising experience. Knowing what to expect helps to make the cruise time more efficient. I know what to avoid and what to seek out for fun and entertainment but also for relaxation because of your review. Your best is being channeled because of your great humble upbringing! People are going to be mean, especially these days with social media where you expose your under belly and they sit on a sofa or in a basement and critique everything that you say or do. As empathetic good people, we tend to hear those negative, non productive people sometimes louder than than our other 99% supporters. We don’t need them. Don’t give them your time or attention. First and only cruise I ever took was on a Princess Cruise with my family in 2015. My grandmother and grandfather used to take cruises all the time through the 80’s and 90’s. So when I hear about people not having fun on cruises, it does bum me out and makes me hesitant to go on future cruises. But I’m glad to see you never let the bad stuff get you down.

The one thing I dislike about Carnival is their announcements. Not so much that they have so many, but the fact that you hear the chimes to let you know one is coming, and then you have jump up off of your bed/couch/balcony and run over and open your stateroom door to hear it in the hallway. I know some people are against them making the announcements directly into your room, but I would actually prefer it.
