if you watch at 4:04 you can see it fall from that little black circle right above the exhaust the with the baffle test in, then it falls and flies out when he tests without the baffle

I agree with you, it sounds way better without the db killer. It really seems to let more bass through and even the exhaust tone out. With the DB killer it seemed like it was much higher pitched and kind of tin can like if that makes sense. Sounds amazing.

It does sound a million times better. IDK if your experience is the same as mine - I had a 2012 with a stock header, cat-delete/mid-pipe, and the GYTR silencer and it was cop attractant. I ended up putting the stock silencer on that setup and it was gnarly enough to sound cool but the volume was low and didn't blast my ears. Best of all - cops didn't notice it anymore.

Moto, I saw all of the comments about the DB killer too. I refrained from saying leave it in just for a bit in case Aelynn & Abby were catching a nap whenever you rolled in. I guess you can always neutral coast in if need be. ☮️

I personally like the quiet sound. Like an Owl when they swoop by so silent. Stealth is my moto, put a stealth switch to turn off brake lights.

I know I'm probably in the minority but I actually like the sound better with the baffle in. Less obnoxious at idle and midrange, but still sounds great when you hit the high rpms. I'd also worry about cruising drone with the baffle out. Not a problem if you only go for relatively short rides in and around town and the lake, but sitting on the highway for hours with that no-baffle drone can drive a person insane. I guess it's easy enough to just put the baffle back in for longer rides.
