I generally don't consider going to Walmart more than 15 minutes away b/c I know from a dollars to miles ratio it'll be more favorable when I add the miles to a Walmart order vs what I would potentially get from Doordash or Ubereats. But yes, I once actually turned Spark on b/c I knew I was going to pass the location in 30 minutes anyway and scored a $32 curbside for 6.5 miles when I was 30 minutes and 20 miles from the store. Of course, I got penalized for not being on time but I knew the good orders would be there b/c it was a busy Saturday.

Rediculous at Christmas time. Our local walmart in St George Utah, you can't even get out at the light for less than 3x changes. That Entire area is plugged until after New Years. You couldn't make it in 3 minutes if you were on the same block, let alone get to the customer. Tis the season for not being able to get anywhere swiftly.

I live 5 minutes away from two different Walmarts. Just got off the waiting list and took my first order. $30 going 8 miles. It was a huge order. I drive an SUV. This order took up all my trunk space, the entire back seat, and had to put some in the front passenger seat. Just because of the sheer number of items, it took a long time to load and unload. Still, $30 for a bit over an hour out work is good pay.

This happened to me, 20+ miles away from walmart. Second I accepted the order I was marked as already being late for the order. The order would have literally cost me money to do. I had to cancel it. It's really annoying that they would even push these kinds of orders. It's like they were looking for a driver to blame for an order that no one wanted to take.

i accepted a walmart order 2 days ago. it was huge 300 items for 2 drops. 500lbs of groceries. i was a mile from home and was in my car so i took the offer, went home to get my pickup truck and headed to the store. the offer was for $54 6 miles. I got to walmart and check in and a popup came onto my screen. it said, your offer price has been adjusted to $11.62 breach of contract. canceled. turned off the app(maybe forever)

I would consider the miles it takes you to return to the walmart to pick up more orders as well. Sonif you drive out 8 miles to deliver an order, you have to drive 8 dead miles back to the Walmart to pick up more orders.

I tend to use doordash and walmart spark at the same time pausing doordash when I get a good walmart order cause the walmarts are at the power strips for my location I go to. which is nice, so get a 6 dollar door dash order and then get a 20 dollar or even a 24 dollar walmart order cause I ignore the low paying orders, its a nice 26-30 bucks within the hour. Though sometimes I take a big 18 drop order for like 24 miles and its the walmart I am already at and they are paying 42 bucks on it. its not bad maybe not the best, but I normally get those done fast. Which is nice when its a really slow bad day for doordash.

I luckily live 10 minutes from a walmart so I csn turn on orders and still make it. I usually hover around a walmart my OTA been 100% im over 3k deliveries when multiapping its risky they track u

I'm a spark driver and my reverse has went out in my car. Now the only orders I can accept are shop and delivery orders since I can't back out of the pick up spots. If only Walmart had painted the parking number on the ground instead of putting up a number poll then I'd be able to just drive straight. I've lost almost 2 months of work

I think you're right, so you just swipe 'start trip' then you can't be reassigned? But I'd still have the OTA issue, so basically all that means is I'll have to commit to doing Spark and wait to go online until I'm closer to the stores.

@@YourDriverMike I am constantly late due to no fault of my own because I frequently scoop ASAP orders that others rejected. I also have 1% AR. Now they have stopped showing my stats. it comes up all dashes--no numbers! So I just keep rolling. I do an excellent job as far as the customers are concerned but I disregard all the unfair stuff. I rarely take anything under $25. Maybe I'm valued because I'm willing to carry heavy things up flights of stairs? (Free workout 💪) Like, I fit a niche they need. Just not sure why they don't mess with me lol

another killer with spark is the lack of tips from the batch orders. if ya just got ONE DOLLAR from each of the 10-12 drops that would change everything I have carried 500lbs of stuff from Sams Club with zero tip. i dontblame the customer because i dont even think Sams Club app has an area at checkout for the customer to tip the driver the mindset of customers is just not the same. for food servers people always tip but we never tip the UPS man, so ya gets tips with UE and DD without hesitation because society "expects" it

You don't get dinged for lateness on shops, even express. Just make sure you deliver it by the deliver by time. If you don't think you can make that time don't accept it. I've been over a half hour late to start shopping time and I keep 100% on time. Curbside is where you get penalized if you're about 10 mins late

people are cruel and they lie ruined my job ability despite 96% on time item find 4.3 star but.say i.cuss drivers and customers witch is ridiculous, I haven't had the job a month why would or how could it happen
