A little tip for avoiding torches in grassy areas: use a shroomlight/glow stone block in the ground where you need light and then cover the top with moss carpet, it adds light without ruining the natural look.

I love that all hardcore players all end up doing the same thing, but put their own touch to it to make it unique. Sandiction made many biomes in the end, then a cage to trap the ender dragon, Wazee made a small circle of the overworld, INCLUDING water, then now this madlad is making the WHOLE ISLAND the overworld. All the same concept but different outcomes. Amazing

Use glow berries as an alternative for the torches.
@wardenm2 жыл бұрын
Glow berries hanging from trees, sea pickles beneath the water (covered by a lily pad) of your farms, a couple bees nests and a dog or some such in town just to add a bit more ambient life... Those towers will respawn if the end dragon is reborn, so might be nicer to just leave them and add some small ruins around them lit up by old lanterns or floating candles and such as well.

Though I realize it's late to say it now: There are a few reliable ways of moving villagers around. The two that I like to use? 1] Create a tunnel network [even a tall V-shape can work] and 'encourage' the villagers to navigate through it using workstations and beds and blocking off the tunnel behind them. 2] Occupied boats can be carried by a minecart if the cart is moving fast enough. No, I have not tested if it can carry two villagers at a time, but it'd be worth playing with.

Pro tip from someone who has eradicated almost all of the obsidian obliques even down to the void for my own twist on this theme. USE WITHERS TO BREAK LARGE AMOUNTS OF THE TOWERS. It makes it so much easier and cuts down on the mining by so much. Use Ianxo4’s wither skeleton farm for the skulls. I know this is 2 years late but it could help other people who want to break the towers.
