I didn’t realize how much I’v missed your beauty videos as well as your monthly favorites! Would you mind doing a video on tip & tricks for winged eyeliner on “mono-lids”, (or hooded eyes as we call them in the US)? The little fold of skin at the corners prevents me from creating a straight wing! If I try w/my eyes closed, it looks like I have a curved checkmark instead of a lovely wing! Much Love to the whole family! 🤗💜😘
@raapyna85446 жыл бұрын
Ah, the corner of my eye points downwards, so I would appreciate this too. I often just line the top, make it a bit thicker on the center, and don't attempt to do a wing. Uh, I really wanna do makeup now.
@xpeachypixie6 жыл бұрын
I would also like that, but just so you know hooded eyes and mono lids are different things. Her eyes don’t have the crease fold like hooded eyes, they just cover themselves in her eye socket. I hope that makes sense!
@mcgonagallerys6 жыл бұрын
@Rebecca Ude Hooded eyes isn't an eye shape, it just means you have folded/sagging skin on your eyelids. Anyone can have hooded eyes regardless of their eye shape (in fact some people's skin sags with age). Jessica's eyes aren't hooded at all. She just has a monolid. (Which isn't a British a term, it's the proper term). It means she doesn't have a crease, her eyelids are flat and directly attached to her scalps if that makes sense

I've been a viewer for a bit. I personally love hair style from goergian era to current times. Makeup, from the 1940 to current. My most favorite, a creamy complexion, ( avoid full sun) light eyeshadows, eye liner, brows of course, and redder the better lips! Hair, worked in it's most naturally falling form. Then working the hair, with pins , enhancers, etc. I enjoy and appreciate your original look! I too, combine eras to create my own look! Yes, I get looks. Doesn't bother me. I have enough in life to bother, with. Just an added note. Went to an evening wedding. Dressed in a soft Rose velvet floor lenghth dress. Makeup as usual, but with a powdered down red. Hair, rolled up, from ear to ear, pinned in placed. (Not sure of it's official name). There was an artist at the reception, that used my I'm age, as her subject! Who, would have believed. Sincerely, hope your well, as can be. And continue to make your videos.

Fabulous job and great music. This is one of my favorite decades so I appreciated the images and historic narrative. I especially love the photo of Louise Brooks (certainly an inspiration for a good deal of Phryne Fisher's characteristics. I would replicate the hairdo in a heartbeat, but my hair is too long and bushy. Being older than god, I recall that when I was very young, Maybelline still made cake mascara,. My mother used it and it came in a very ugly little orange case with a brush similar to the one you used.

My favorite game is called Criminal Case: Mysteries of the Past. It's very similar to your game, but it takes place around the turn of the century in a place that's similar to New York City. It's so much fun! I love how a lot of the murder cases intertwine with each other. It doesn't have the home building game, but you do get to make and dress your own character, you can purchase a police pet that helps you throughout the game, and it does have a lot of mini games that revolve around the evidence that you find. It's so addictive!! 🌃🚓

Vaseline on the lids can help with dry eye! It should be near the lashes and mostly on the bottom but if done every night or day with no eyeshadow it'd probably help with any dry eye issues you may have. I do it at night and it reduced the pain from my dry eye by a ton. I'm on restasis now but have to still apply the vaseline because it was painful without.

Tip to prevent your nails from getting damaged: Less coats. I'm not a pro or anything similar, but my experience is that if you put on a lot of coats, it will take longer to fully dry (especially in wet weather coff coff), and even when dry, there will be a thick layer of varnish, that is more likely to chip at the edge of the nail, and then we all know what happens.... When I can keep from biting my nails long enough to have them done, I try to put on a nice even layer of the varnish of choice and a top coat. It's harder to have the varnish fully cover the nail and loog good with only one coat, but I swear it lasts much longer.
