I'm a licensed stylist for over 20 years & my hair is just like cardi b , you should only do this mask 1x a week after you shampoo, towel dry your hair, then apply in sections, cover with cap & you'll get the best results if you go under a dryer for at least 15min then Rinse with tap to cold water then apply a light conditioner, this is a mask.

@@jessicapitts2215 If you really want to grow your hair, try switching to clay cleanser! I have and the growth in my hair is crazy. I struggle for about 2 years to grow my hair, and it stayed around 3-4 inches (stretched) but once I started do this it grew over months! Now it’s around 7-8 inches, and my curls are wayy looser. I co-wash like every 2-4 days, then cleanse with a cleansing clay mask every 2 weeks, also rinsing with cold water after conditioning also made a huge difference!

I'm dealing with the same I have 3c past lower bra strap legnth corkscrew spiral curls that get matted so bad sometimes I have to cut some matts and single stand knots out. I'm protein sensitive. Never had matted hair before until i started using oils and products with proteins which dried out my hair plus i was shampooing every couple days. I haven't found a conditioner or detangling milk that works for matted hair. No matter what leave in conditioner I use my hair feels dry one I air dry. I only use heat on my hair 0 to 1 times a year. If anyone has advice on matted curly hair I need help

@@Kygirly27 Have you tried this hair mask and rinse with warm/ cool water. Maybe, it’s time to switch products. I’d avoid product ingredients with protein( keratin). Also look in a hair butter for your scalp. Design Essential has one. It looks like a hair grease but it has very good ingredients. Minus the mineral oil and petroleum. Meille hair products are good. Hair should not be comb out when hair is wet die to the fact that wet hair is very vulnerable and will break of and snap off. But then I remembered how much I hated detangling all my hair 😩 I’m protein sensitive too, & I learned back then that following up with a moisturizing treatment after a protein treatment helped soooo much. Something as small as a good conditioner followed by a hot oil treatment (with just a light rinse afterwards, instead of thoroughly washing out all of the oils) made a big difference in how bouncy & moisturized my hair would feel after the protein.

@mercedesfonte74763 жыл бұрын
Hi ❤ I stumbled to this video and I will definitely be giving this mask a try. Even though I think I will be skipping the egg😅 I color my hair so most likely this would be worth trying. By the way, you have gorgeous hair. Thanks for this video. 🌹 🙏

Mayo is just eggs and oil, so if you're going to skip the egg, skip the mayo and just increase the oil you add.

Can I as a latina with wavy/not curly hair use this treatment? I don't usually watch hair videos but this one was very nice to watch :) my hair feels very dry and like it doesn't have a shape usually, I have to braid it for the waves to look defined and shiny but I just don't know why I just don't like it, it doesn't look healthy

I love the trouble areas comment 😓😓 the middle back section of my head is just so thick and I always get scared to like “over product” my hair so that comment was very refreshing lol I know to go heavy if I need to!!

Not enough oil is usually the problem for our texture hair so you may need to adjust it to your hair texture
