Chili with noodles are usually a northern American thing. South like Texas, where I'm from, we typically make such a good chili that we put in a bowl by itself. We may eat it with cornbread or saltine crackers. There are recipes that aren't considered Chili. They are a recipe that we put chili over like corn chips with cheese & sometimes onions & call it frito pie. We put chili over hot dogs on a bun with shred cheese & onion. And chili over macaroni & cheese. Yum

Naomi, I love your first chili attempt! Americans typically make chili differently depending on the region. In Georgia, my family makes a recipe with lean ground beef, garlic, onion, green bell pepper, diced tomato, tomato sauce, kidney beans, pinto beans, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper and salt. If you look up “copycat Wendy’s chili recipe” you can find the same or a similar recipe! We don’t ever put noodles in ours, but we do eat it with sour cream and Fritos 😊

My combos personally are first, Cheezit or goldfish wrapped in pepperoni- it’s kinda like savory but also a tad bit of spice. Then my next one is extra cheddar goldfish with vainilla ice cream! Lowkey my first combo I tried as a kid, it was amazing.. and my weirdest one is a Bosco cheese stick with a Scooby doo snack in it and then dipped into pizza sauce, or just the Scooby doo snack dipped into pizza sauce! :’)

A sandwich my mom made for me growing up had toasted bread, mayo, melted cheese, a fried egg, and sliced tomato. You load up each layer with this spice mix called “Spike”. We only rediscovered it this year as we finally remembered what the spice mix was called and ordered it online. So Jennifer Lawrence is from northernish Kentucky and we have a few chains of restaurants that serve spaghetti with chili on top. I’m guessing that’s where she got the chili spaghetti from. It’s not like traditional spaghetti it’s just really finely chopped ground beef with a bunch of spices and tomato paste. It isn’t really a chunky chilli it’s more like a spaghetti sauce with some extra flavor. You can look up Cincinnati Chili to find it (my favorite is skyline 😉)

i drink salt water when im sick/dehydrated. i mix a TINY amount of iodized salt with water when im sick. the salt water also helps soothe my throat. i put enough in that i can BARELY taste the salt at all. If you have strep throat or some kind of infection gargling very salty water can also help, ive done it the last couple times i had a cold and it was instant relief.

9:18 Okay this might be not super weird, but i used to, and still sometimes still, eat a sort of thick beverage/soup thing made of berries with frozen strawberries in it. I think the berry is called ”rose hip” in english? That sounds really weird but in swedish its called ”nypon” its like red and probably not very good alone, but as a soup with frozen strawberries is so good! The soup is obviously already cold, so when yiu add in the strawberries that are frozen they get a shell around them of just the soup because its so good. Like omg its so satisfying and i love it so much please try it if you can get your hands on rose hip soup!! 😢😢

My go to nostalgic moment is a pineapple and potted meat sandwich. 😊 you take 2 pieces of white bread , spread some mayonnaise on both slices then spread your potted meat on one slice and put your pineapple on the other slice , put it together and enjoy! It’s super good 👍

Things I ate a teen and have never eaten again. 1)Cheetos and maple syrup. Dip the cheetos in maple syrup. 2) Nilla wafers and cream cheese. 3) rice with bbq sauce or heinz 57 sauce. 4) I also used to drown cheez-its in hot sauce. I just don't eat this one because they have hot and spicy cheez-its. Now, one I do eat all the damn time, and it is delicious. Saltine crackers and chocolate frosting the one in a can particularly.
