In electral powder small packet sodium chloride is 0.5g and Sodium Citrate is 0.5g. So if we calculate solely quantity of Sodium, we will get 0.4g only. Also BCAA contains 0.3-0.5mg of sodium. So how can you even compare them on the basis of sodium.

@@prakashsinghmehra2306I do hard exercise before go for gym ..like I do exercise constant 40 minutes stretching, weight squats, one leg squats, leg stretching full, bend hip, jumping jack, nuckle push-up bla bla that my area became paani paani by my sweat😅..& genetically I have an issue that whenever I do works I get so much sweat but I dicided to drink water with ORS..I'm drinking 1L ORS water in morning while I'm doing exercise😅...after every exercise I takes 2 ghont of ors water after 40 minutes of exercise I finished 1L of ors water & trust I releases water by sweat so after drinking 1L of water I still have no urine pressure... because all I sweats off😅

Potassium depletion is as relevant as Sodium loss. It causes muscle cramps, fatigue, migraine and blackouts. I found out the hard way that with sodium hydration it was not solving the problem of migraine, fatigue, cramps and eventually blackout. It was not until I tried taking electoral that helped in fixing the acute fatigue condition, otherwise I was forced to take rest for couple of hours and sleep it out. Later when i got myself checked I found I have hypokalaemia. Potassium Citrate supplementation helped. Frequent urination was not due to drinking lot of water alone, but hypokalaemia. I found having Electoral in water during workout helps in avoiding any onset of such symptoms, and it provides the energy to get you through the workout. I have stopped taking creatine as told by Dermatologist as it was not aiding DHT blocking prescription i am on. So Electoral comes as a life saver. Have 1 whole packet in 1 litre of water at gym. it works.

I sweat more than most people in the gym (no underlying disease). When I started working out, I observed a lot of muscle cramping and I used to get thirsty a lot. No amount of water seemed to quench my thirst. Consulted a doctor and he told me it's dehydration and suggested me to take a small (5 gm) sachet of Electral every couple of days when working out. Haven't faced any issues since. If you face similar issues, you can go ahead with a little Electral every couple of days. But as said in the video, don't go about gulping Electral just for the sake of the pump. It WILL have severe consequences in the long run.

Potassium is not the issue, the main problem with electrol powder is the sodium present not the potassium, our daily potassium intake should between 2.5 - 3.5 g but we only need sodium 2.6 g , so if you taking electrol for no reason then you're exceeding the sodium intake, not the potassium, In one banana there is approx 0.3 - 0.4 g potassium it not that much, so there will be unbalance but because of sodium not the potassium. 1 electrol pack contain 2.6 g of sodium chloride ,1.5 g of potassium , 2.9 g of sodium citrate and 13.5 g of dextrose.

Although it's not much beneficial to use Electral as energy source during normal workout, it does help in replenishment of Na, K & Cl which gets excreted during extreme sweating. But the main problem here is Sodium overload, not Potassium, if taken too much electral. Bcz the sodium content of Electral is on the higher side. And yes the normal sweat consists of Na, Cl, Mg and K (potassium) too. Don't misguide people. A normal wikipedia search can show that.

You are right but, here's a catch. We always use small quality of BCAA while working out in gym . And after that we use EAA whey protein throughout the day.so everything is balance.and body is soo intelligent that it just reject if anything is over. Anything excess doesn't participate in reaction.(chapter-1- chemistry-class-11-CBSE board) If you know what you are consuming then go ahead. Or else just talk to a good Nutritionist before trying anything other than normal food.

answer to your question - Eat good meal probably high in carbs and protein (3:1.5 ratio).. 3 - 4hrs before workout.. and see.. and still if you feel weak.. go to the doctor for full body checkup

For a non-competing person only: U don't need to take anything- I have been working out for 30 years and before any of these things were available, we drank a very special drink during the workout, it is called water. It seems rare now a days in the gym. If you want to flavour it, you can add a tiny drop of tulsi ark in a litre of water for flavour. If you are not competing you don't need any of this really...
