I tried out ARRTX Acrylic Markers 48 Set - Review

It's really interesting to hear your perspective on the markers. I'm a hobby artist who prefers traditional art, but still really enjoys doing digital art. I've used posca and arrtx acrylic markers and from my personal experience a lot of the stuff you didn't like about the markers you used are just stuff you have to deal with in most acrylic markers. If you ever want to do more work with acrylic markers in a sketchbook/on paper I would recommend applying gesso to the paper, it makes a huge difference when it comes to the paper pilling or warping. In general acrylic markers aren't meant for working on paper but they're so convenient and fun that people do it anyway. It's funny to me that the thickness of the paint is a con for you because thicker/more opaque paint is usually seen as a positive for acrylic markers because the less layers you have to do is usually better. Keep up the good work! I always love seeing your traditional artwork!

yeah im definitely gonna try these out on spare canvases that i've had in my storage for years 😅 im sure with that, i'm gonna appreciate the thicker paint a lot more

​​@@ayeoops I mostly watch people use them on thicker paper though this set is more runny than the others so I think you will like the others more and I'm pretty sure you can find plenty of blending tips and tricks I did. Also love your art and dnd characters

I got an arrtx set for Christmas and I didn't know what to really know how to blend colors so thank you for sharing your technique and common struggles ^U^ It's nice to have such a cool artist to relate to :DD

For Christmas one of the gifts, I got was Arrtx's 36 set of brush tip acrylic paint makers and it also didn't come with a swatch sheet either. So, I'm going to assume none of their acrylic maker sets come with one.

I actually did a recent video on my channel using acrylic arrtx markers on a canvas. I do believe these markers work A LOT better on canvas and not sketchbooks. I only use them in my sketchbook when covering up mistakes or just to doodle. Thank you for the video and amzing art!❤✨

How are you a traditional newbie with all of those markers stacked in the background and stating that you’re disappointed bc of no sample colors set? Newbies don’t have those supplies and wouldn’t know that. Just embrace all of your talents equally.

i call myself a newbie because i don't normally work with this medium. i have those supplies because the brands sponsored me to try out their products (i did warn them of my inexperience) also, newbie doesnt necessary mean bad 😅 i just wanted to be transparent that i'm not an expert
