Funny how my constellation acne of 2 years cured itself once the pandemic hit and we all started to work from home. I could finally sit in a stress-free environment at home, not in a freezing AC office, and could take frequent trips outside in the sun :) (sleeping in a bit more also helped!)

Girl I feel you, during highschool I was so clueless about skincare until I got cystic hormonal acne and I had no idea how to get rid of it, eventually when I did I literally got the worst physical acne scarring and pigment. My parents weren’t aware of skincare either so I felt alone, plus I didn’t have any money so I have to find strategic ways of getting my own treatment (thanks to dr dray a dermatologist on KZbin) even with some scarring left, I felt kinda traumatized because everytime I get a singular pimple I freak out and make sure I stay on top of my skin. Thank you for making this video!! I grow up with horrible acne from a young preteen to mid 20s. I tired all the skincare programs in my youth, but none worked! With all the media saying if you don't have clear skin you are ugly and you should cover it up. It was GREAT for my young mind!! I finally went to a licensed esthetician in my mid 20s and we worked on my skin for 6 months with a whole lot of money with it. My skin got a bit better, but not clear or not painful. She recommended for me to get on Accutane. I resistant, but finally gave it! The process on Accutane was not pretty, but now I'm post- Accutane with clear skin I would have never dreamed of! Thank you for making a video the accepts differences in people's skin and sometimes getting rid of acne not always for a prettier look, it is for a prettier you! Thank you always love your context!! Trying to become a RN like you , 6 months before I can apply for programs! Thanks for being an inspiration!!!!

I never got cheek acne till a couple months ago (I was also really stressed during the time) but I started washing my pillow case every week and my acne went away. Used a mild facial cleanser or one with no smells or chemicals and it helped a lot.
