Hey yall! There's been an onslaught of negative and frankly shitty comments on my videos, which is fine, people are entitled to their opinion. But I don't really benefit from seeing it...people comparing me to other people or accusing me of the most random things. BTW if your comment gets deleted and you've said something rude, it's not me. YT filters it out... I can take a screenshot to prove it. But that's kind of the thing, I always feel like I have to prove every little thing or else people will go on a virtual witch hunt. ANYWAYS all of that to say I'm going to step back from reading comments. Apologies to the majority of cool people because my ass is so sensitive lol.💛🦕

Glad you are taking a break. The comments have been super discouraging and unreasonably judgemental. A lot of them have been downright coercive or creepy, like pressuring you to do things you never agreed to or to provide receipts to back up what's going on with you which none us have a right to expect as total strangers. For the record, I think you aced your challenge while it was in your power to do so, found an important part of the puzzle that's been holding you back and recognised an unhelpful behaviour and put steps in place to stop it catching you out again. That's not making excuses it's being self aware and adjusting your strategy and you should be proud of that. Keep doing what you're doing and remember hater review channels aren't interested in your success or they wouldn't be able to make content out of you so nothing you do will be good enough for them. You can safely ignore them and their horde of trolls. Also gotta love Rachel Maksy.

Hey friend! Here are some tips from a professional Scenic Painter who had struggled with many a brick wall. Add a really thinned out brownish gray wash to add a unified look to all the bricks. And if you want to add some more depth quick and easy, just paint a small dark Grey line under each brick to create a shadow effect. This looks great though, you did such a good job!

I need every fitness influencer and health influencer leaving comments and making content on Bea to understand I'm not here for diet or exercise routine information/science. I'm here to watch a fellow adult I feel I share a lot of characteristics/behaviors with(I mean that in the most non-parasocial way possible) struggle and get through her life just like I'm doing. I don't watch your fitness channels when I'm in the mood for a vlog and I don't watch vlogs to build an exercise routine. We watch Bea because we're all on a similar self-discovery journey and she's just a delight to watch. I know she's not perfect you don't need to make hour long videos to prove what she's already told and constantly admits to us? It's great you find joy and purpose in fitness but leave people who are just doing their best and sharing their personal, relatable lives alone? Like this is literally just a vlog channel get some therapy and let us all watch Bea paint dinosaurs in peace?

Safety first!!! Always wear a respirator and safety glasses! That said the painting the “mortar” of the brick is exactly the kind of hyper focused adhd thing I’d do! Either I half ass it or I go into deep detail. I think it looks great; you should give your artisan wall more credit!

most people don't understand how hard it is for someone diagnosed with ADHD to be constant and function in general 😅 Fortunately, I have medication that works 70% of the time, with no side effects. That's so sad to hear that people are being negative. I find your personality truly wonderful and you always crack me up with your humour. Switching topics, if you do happen to read this, I just renovated my office space and for the areas around windows and doors, instead of using wood trim, I put up white fun fur. It was easy to do...just put it up with a staple gun. I love how it looks!

Also, I don’t understand the spreading of the compound over the entire walls and ceiling. It’s joint compound to spread on the joints. The walls and ceiling looked in good shape. The textured wall would have looked good as the brick wall. I’m very impressed with her abilities and willingness to try anything.

You may want to look into taking a good probiotic (seed, is a good one) and start eating foods that have probiotics in them (sauerkraut, kimchi, yogurt (not sweetened), kefir, miso). Unfortunately nobody tells you when you take antibiotics that you are supposed to follow them up with probiotics to restore your good bacteria! Getting lots of the good bugs will help with your immunity greatly! Just FYI, you are the only youtuber I actually watch every video and can't wait to you drop the next one!!! I know non- smoking young people who had recurring unexplained colds, nasal issues, and then one had an unexplained lung collapse. One has long haul Covid, but another has non small cell lung cancer. I’m only at the start of the video do you might already know this but in the U.K. you can get “facing bricks” basically it’s a slice of the side of a brick that’s about 1/2 inch thick that you stick on the wall to make it look like a brick wall xx

You can also buy faux brick panels that you mud/grout and stick to the wall in the US. Kind of like tile, but thin brick slices. Great option for anyone without the artistic talent and EXTREME patience and dedication Bea has!! Hi bea! I recently had to spackle and paint my whole room and id just like to mention yes you should definitely have a good mask on like the one from lowes but also for around $100 you can get a vacuum from home Depot /lowes to sand the walls with which you fill with water so the dust particles stay inside the vacuum and don't end up in your lungs or all over the room. Mentioning this because i know you do lots of home improvements by yourself and i want you to be safe and healthy!

I admire your commitment to improvement! My version of this project was covering one fireplace surround. The only difference is added sponges for texture to the mud coat, and doing it on a much, much smaller area with stencils instead of taping it off. Hope you're over the hump and recovering now ❤

The inhaling joint compound without protective wear is something I would do as well LOL… I took on removing smoke stains from my walls with what I thought was wall stain remover and was actually oven cleaner and ended up with no fingerprints on my the tips of my fingers by the end of it 😂😂😂 . You did an amazing job!!!

I painted a faux brick wall a few years ago and the thing that really drove home the look was putting concrete patch in the grout lines, but it took foreverrrrr. You wall turned out great, but that's not surprising with how artistic you are.
