Chris, this is the only channel I watch for KDP knowledge. I've taken so many notes based on your videos so thank you so much for being so generous with your hard-won knowledge. When do you recommend that people start promoting their books on external platforms such as Facebook, Instagram? Does such exposure increase sales at all? John

I have an entire pen name on social media for my children's books and I am not sure if people really purchase from it honestly. It may be a long game of building up these platforms. IDK. I have other pen names that do not have social media in other niches and they sell, but not as good.

Hey Chris, another great video full of useful info. I have a couple questions, hopefully, you see this one: 1) When can I expect to start making organic sales, and how many in how long to let me know whether it's worth pursuing? For example, I have a book that has been released and running ads for around 3 weeks. It's getting pretty good sales from ads (18 orders, 1 order in 15 clicks) and has ranked on the 1st page for several of my targeted search terms. But, so far I've only seen 2 organic sales. Do you know if this is normal? Is there a specific number of organic sales to inform me that this book is worth pursuing? 2) I have another book that's been released for 1 week. Strangely, the ad results from different countries (US and UK) are completely different. I'm getting great results from the UK marketplace (5-7 clicks per day, 1 order every 8 clicks), so I know there's demand and interest for it. But, in the US market, the ads are just not generating clicks. I've had 1 click from 2000+ impressions in a week. I've even tried to change the ads to up and down, but still no clicks. Have you ever encountered something like this? Do you have any suggestions on what should be done in cases like this? Thank you in advance.

Love your videos, they're very helpful. I have a variety of different medium content book niches with books in them. Logbooks, prompted journals, pet logbooks, health, camping stuff etc. Would you recommend that they have different pen names to create a focused brand, or keep them all under one pen name. I'm really struggling on what to do. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Love your videos but I wish you would stop using these bright white backgrounds that light up my whole room, let alone stress the eyes. I know it might seem to be a minor complaint but couldn't you use some darker, neutral textured background for easier viewing for those that are in darker rooms, just a suggestion. Thanks for all your hard work on these great videos.

Thank you so much for your videos. I started using auto ads from your advice and l have had such success with it. But l would love a launch course like you mentioned. I know it would help me so much because I’m not sure exactly how to evaluate the ads. Also if you had time l would love a video on email marketing and creating a list. I haven’t set this up yet and I’m resisting doing it but l know if I want to build a brand this is needed. Thank you again.

If you find that your advertising dollars are not working for a particular book, do you pull the book off your shop, or simply stop spending money on ads?
