We telling spooky stories now, I got one: I got a near death arm wound in the middle of a forest, 15 miles away from the nearest road. Luckily I was only 6 when it happened because when you have bad injuries young, you deal with them better. We had to stay overnight and just hoped I would survive because there was nothing we could do about it, because we have no meds of any kind and were stranded. I was fine tho and now. Just how stupid 6 year old me was, I got the wound in my arm from slipping and my arm hitting a fallen tree trunk. I hit one of the ends of a chopped off branch that was sharp and sticking out. You did odyssey coinless, now do it with fighting every boss battle. you cant skip one if you could skip it.

Coming back to this video several years later (bc I watch your stuff to help me go to bed, your voice is so relaxing) and the auto chapters KZbin has put in are very funny. Every couple minutes or so it sees that text on screen is different, so it chose that to be a chapter and set the chapter to be the changed text. Except because it's a stream vod, that text is just different people donating or following. Excellent work, KZbin auto chapters.

Okay so for anyone that doesn't know what happened at 33:30, after jumping in 1.0 (it might still be in later patches but I don't think it is), there are a few frames where after you land if you jump again for whatever reason the game hasn't registered that Mario touched the ground and you can't bounce off of cappy after jumping again. This is also why the poison buffer trick works. The game thinks Mario is still in the air, therefore collision on the ground doesn't affect him for a few frames allowing him to complete the triple jump and dive onto the plant.

i think my scariest event would be when i was like 11 or so, i was at the beach and the water just kinda "grabbed" my swimming skirt and pulled me in. i could see a wave crashing over me and if it wasnt for my brother's friend randomly being at the beach at the same time as us, seeing what was happening and ran as fast as he could to yoink me out of the water, i would have probably drowned. i didnt know how to swim at the time, and i still cant swim well. i love the ocean, but hate being in it.

Referencing the conversation at 15:00 Sleep paralysis sucks, but sometimes it sucks more than other times. Actually sometimes it doesn't suck. I have a long history of sleep paralysis, usually it happens for a few months on a daily/multiple times daily basis and then goes away for a few months. Here's the basics of what I experience. Most of the time it is literally just "sleep paralysis," as in, I know I'm asleep and on the verge of waking up but I can't move. This is the most basic form of sleep paralysis, and until recently this was the only thing I ever experienced. Usually what I do is I just try repeatedly to twitch a muscle, like a foot or a hand, just try and try and try until I finally wake up. I also typically hyperventilate in this situation. It sucks, but I'm also used to it so it isn't a huge deal. Very rarely I can turn sleep paralysis into a lucid dream, which is the ideal situation. The first time I was able to do this was within the past year, and this is after literally a decade or more of sleep paralysis experiences. You have to basically accept the fact that you are paralyzed and just try to imagine something else, which is usually outside of my abilities. The minority of the time I will have hallucinatory experiences. In the classical sleep paralysis lore you hear of stories of demons sitting on your chest or whatever while you sleep, which is not something I have experienced. However, I have experienced such things as strangers in my room, crawling in through my window, hearing them in other rooms, etc. This is a pretty terrifying experience, and in my case. Other times it is a fairly mild hallucination, for instance if I am in bed with someone I will hallucinate that they were doing something like trying to wake me up. In reality they were either asleep or just doing something else. In situations like this it can sometimes be difficult to distinguish between what happened in reality and what was a hallucination. Another thing that sometimes happens to me is that I will experience sleep paralysis, and then "wake up" into a new dream. So I think I woke up, because sleep paralysis is something that typically happens when you are waking up. But actually I'm still asleep. Sometimes this will happen a few times in a row before I actually wake up. Now for the absolute worst case scenario, sometimes I will experience paralysis, "wake up" (but not really,) and then when I go into the other room there will be a burglar or something in my house. So, like, I know I'm awake (but I'm wrong) and then something really bad happens which I believe to be reality because I am fairly certain that I'm awake. Anyway, that's my story.
