I’ve sadly had the same type of Butter Chicken here in Brisbane many years ago, except it would’ve been Heinz Tomato soup they used (Australia’s standard tomato soup). But it was 100% a tin of tomato soup with some chicken mixed it. I never went back and they were out of business within a year. The owners were Caucasian so I always try to eat at an Indian restaurant that’s owned by Indians and has plenty of Indian customers. That’s been the safest method for me lately.

Indians are the harshest reviewers haha. I think its because a lot of us have grown up having servants in the house, so some people feel entitled to a certain level of service.I went to a restaurant yesterday that was rated 2.9 on googlee, and it was one of the best indian meals i have ever had.

An Indian restaurant near where I live whose food was great. The owner was saying that his restaurant was review bombed by other Indian restaurants in the local area. He. Was still g he even had his takeaway menus stolen from the holder outside and dumped in the bin. His security cam caught it.

Been watching the series on and off for a couple months now Been looking at doing road trips to small towns out and around New Zealand and trying some of the less rated ones while keeping that in mind. Some people would be thrown off by a 2 or 3 star rating but you show sometimes reviews can be misleading and or things have changed. Then again some places could just be inconsistent but definitely worth giving a try. Looking forward to more of this series!
