I noticed things definitely got worse during an after covid, everyone became standoffish and I felt the staff in shops started getting pushy with all the rules and so the customers probably got feed up with it. The customers got greedy aswell with hording stuff, so I'm not saying it's anyone's fault but attitudes and isolation most likely a factor. I always love America for the service as when working for tips they depend on the service skills. Again not all places obviously.

I find that most Asian restaurants price their vegetarian dishes as much as meat dishes these days. I wasn't aware green beans were that expensive. Every time I go to Coles or woolies the broccoli at S7-8/kg makes me cringe. Australia will follow the US soon where it's cheaper to eat fast food than to buy and cook vegetables at home.
