If you've been kinda low degree ill, sore/itchy ears, kinda irritated throat like that "is this the start of tonsillitis?", kinda stuffy but not have a full blown cold stuffy sinuses, warm but not quite an actual temperature, there might be something you're allergic/intolerant to. Took me bloody ages to find out what was going on, then boom, cured by the dr saying to take an antihistamine and discover my allergy triggers through trial and error

One of my sims died the other day when I wasn't looking and I was floored. She got electrocuted fixing something and then decided to go play outside in a thunderstorm when I wasn't paying attention and got struck by lightning. I hadn't accidentally killed a sim in possibly a decade. I do kind of love to see it though, spices things up a bit, and thankfully she wasn't in line to be heir so not too bad. I'm sure my face looked just like yours when it happened though, I didn't understand what had even happened at first.

playing 3 my sim managed to set on fire trying to fix a tv,, she lived in a house with 2 or 3 other sims but they were all at work and I didn't have a shower only a bath, so she couldn't put herself out. I had to sit and watch her burning while the fire spread throughout the house, meanwhile there were two newborn babies upstairs.... luckily the firefighters came just in time to put her out but it was traumatising lmao

I thought I was just unlucky! I used to never be present when sims die, but in the past month of regular legacy gameplay I've had two sims die of laughter, a sim die in a fire, and a random old lady die of old age immediately after tipping my sim. And also very many close calls with burning or freezing to death or getting struck by lightning. There was also a time where my sims seemed totally fine and I left the game unpaused for two minutes to feed my cats, and I came back to see one of my sims had apparently been killed by lightning... even though the weather was totally clear, there were no alerts about his death, and no gravestone or urn to be found on the lot. It was by far the most bizzare thing to happen.

Omg so it's not just me? 2 sims died of laughter and I didn't even know that was possible! I've never had that happen before. They've also gotten sick more than usual and it's really concerning. They've become dehydrated and I've only had that problem once and it was a mermaid. As well as 3 sims die of old age while on the same lot as my sims. Where as they'd usually only do that when I'm not on the same lot. I was at the gym when a elder sim died of exhaustion and I was so confused because that's never happened to sims that I wasn't controlling. I reloaded the save and took control of that elder and made them watch TV, so that my sim could go home without interruption.

Mine too! I was playing a farming family, had it on fast mode while they did the morning chore routine and suddenly the mother is gone. No notice, no screen pull to the reaper. Just dead. YES! I support a Not So Berry Legacy! Alternatively, I'd love to see a Build Newcrest Legacy or the Zodiac Legacy. Or just a Short Life-Span Legacy. Alternatively, The All Lot Challenges Challenge lol because the drama is just dealing with your situation. Another fun idea might be combining any Sims 4 Challenge with Extreme Rags to Riches (your Sims can ONLY sell items directly to Sims in the world, not your inventory, which does limit your beginning options but expands once you have more money.) I think that could be a lot of fun for a shorter series. I like the idea of doing that with what's basically a homeless CEO couple who are scrambling to get a home built before winter or something lol. Or speedrunning the 1 million challenge in the game, like James and Deli. I'd love to see what strategy Jessie comes up with. :)

Shocking Sims deaths are the worst/best. I had my sim stay up all night painting a masterpiece, enabling the emotional aura, making a grand breakfast, for his new gf. When she woke up she stole (klepto trait, I was unaware) from him. I was so furious that I had him call the police. They did nothing. So I had him try to unalive the cops. Mistake. One pulled out a gun, I built walls around him and he killed my Sim anyway. Such a 180.

Told my sim to go outside, instantly got struck by lightening which has not happened to me since TS2, then instantly got struck again and died. Literally the last time I ever had an accidental death was when one of my child sims was cloud watching in TS2 (Belladonna Cove, so whichever pack that was) and got crushed by a satellite. Moral of the story: never EVER increase speed during a fire, and never EVER wait for a Sim to take care of themselves, especially during a fire. You have to immediately cancel their reaction to the fire and tell them to put themselves out. Also: don't trust other Sims to put them out either. I had six adults help put out the grill fire or panic about it and no one helped Nancy and she died. But just omg, did not expect that ending. XD

I told my psychologist how my moods are like the weather, except I don't have a meteorologist. He did not hint at it maybe being the Aspergers. That. Makes sense. And thank you for sharing.
