Apex Legends + share holders don´t care about eSport or comp scene. If they would make a great job, they would balance out the game too for the 1-2% of players and make it even. They could instantly go for eSport world wide. But no one is touching a game with lobby latency up to 120ms on 300hz setup. It´s wasted. They rather having a trash game played by a view, instead of making a great game for the world ;)

Cool vid, I really enjoyed the animations and music choice. Some observations I made: - You are good at target acquisition and fairly often land the first few shots, since you were training it evrey time you play, aa on or off. - You clearly lack tracking---and not necessarily the skill to track, since your r5 looked alright for someone not really training it before without aa, but sometimes you are just not even trying to track, probably out of habit. This is especially visible in the last fight, where you are making big adjustments once in a while, and then instead of trying to track the person, you are walking your crosshairs into them. Of course, this normally works, since aim takes the wheel. I really wonder how good people could become on roller if aa was not a thing. People playing their first games on mnk also look really bad and it takes time to learn, but right now there is little incentive for controller players to do that---fighting in smoke, thats about it.

Aim Assist is to make up for the fact that roller provides inherently less control over your aim, and in turn is for casual play because less control means inevitably lower skill cieling. Remember rollers, you're a casual player, you cannot develop the same reflexes as MnK. It's not that you suck as a roller player, it's that roller sucks and roller is for casual play only. A MnK plat has more reflexes then a roller pred.

@makotomurazakieng6219 controller is inherently less accurate, it isnt up for debate. its physically impossible for 2 tiny thumb stick to be more accurate than kb/m. now, you can play in ways that mitigate your weaknesses to make it seem like it doesnt matter as much, but its very much a situational thing, and the scenarios you pointed out bear out that truth.

Aim assist isn't accurately named. It's an accountancy for the inherent incapability of roller input to track targets. So the only solution is to make it so you can hold a thumbstick still and beam people. The discrepancy is that aim assist is fine, and great for casual players. But if you care about skill and actually being good at something, the skill cieling is miles higher on MnK The important note is to recognize that a plat MnK player has to put in more effort then a pred roller player, and therefore if you're playing for skill your badges are meaningless the moment you're a roller

This is why nintendo and playstarion controllers are superior to xbox. They have a gyroscope in them that turns physical rotation into camera rotation and feels very similar to mouse aiming. Gyro aiming when done right is good enough to supplement stick steering without the need of aim assist, and can rival mouse and keyboard. Unfortunately the devs seem to have their heads up their ass and never address this. I have a video on the topic. The best way to balance aim assist is keep shitting on MnK players and Tbag them, you can usually notice when they do 50-90 damage up close on you with R99. Soon all playerbase will be controller as its meant to be, all developers play on controller too. Problem fixed no more crying

yep rotational AA is the problem here because like we know it perfectly tracks a target on movement changes with 0 millisecond delay which no human alive has such a reaction speed average is 250ms so vs 0ms roller

Having a good setting without aim assist can greatly enhance your aim movements of playing with a controller. Personally I prefer to play with aim assist turned off sense I don’t like the lock on really it makes my game sense dog when turned on

PC comes with mouse and a keyboard, console comes with controller lets keep it that way and keep aimassist where it belongs. To add on imagine now playing AA off for a year how good your aim would be since you would know exactly how to move your triggers to get result what you need on the screen just like every MNK have to do all the time and controllers argument about point and clicking i would love to see some aim trainer results in top 1% percentile at least.
