I think the split laser upgrade is for that final wave. Hit both sides at the same time while enemies are swarming in and then the thing at top center can be hit by both lasers at the same time.

If you upgrade the converter you can turn iron into more iron, also I see you don't really do many shield upgrades which is weird because it's your main defence and some of the upgrades are god tier like invulnerability and over charge which can be paired so as soon as you shield goes down invulnerability auto triggers. Also...once you hit wave 45-55 you start getting high level enemies similar to the end game but without the nuke.

Double laser is still a buff, it’s only decreasing the laser’s power by 20%, and since you’re getting two lasers they only have to move half as far, so the move speed decrease also doesn’t matter much

Probably less helpful vs air but against the ground units coming from both sides it represents a huge damage boost. Not sure it would have saved him in the final wave though.

I used to be a single laser user, but after testing it out the first time, I realized how much of an advantage that upgrade provides. So yes, he should definitely give it a try, controlling it is confusing at first but you'll quickly learn how to operate it.

It's more efficent if it's on iron. The optimal I think is two iron one cobalt, so you get repairs and upgrades

Split laser only gets less powerful if you hit 2 enemies at once. If you hit only one and the other laser hits nothing the full laser power is on the side that hits something

You know what triggers me? The fact that the mineral ore growing tree seed probably just needs only one ore to grow but instead you give like 6 ores to grow on top of... Do you like wasting resources or something?

It produces up to three resources depending on what it's connected to. More than three resource squares is a waste. One mineral - or none - would still grow a tree, but it would only yield one mineral every now and again. Ideally you find some cobalt to plant it on (though Blitz doesn't seem to need it as I suspect this isn't the hardest difficulty).
