I Uploaded a Video a Day for 399 Days | A Documentary

Right as I was dipping my teenage toe into puberty, my lack of self-esteem kicked into overdrive. Professionals threw around words like Body Dysmorphia and Negative Self Image, but it did nothing to help me overcome my inability to look at myself in the mirror without having a panic attack. For most of my teenage years, my room would look like an abandoned (but furnished) Victorian room with blankets and towels draped over every reflective surface. Until one day I decided it was time to tear down said coverings and face the face of my nightmares.

I'm delighted to see that you've posted another video. I know how challenging it can be to follow through on an idea, especially when unexpected attention comes our way. Between your last video and this one, I started a project that I ultimately gave up on, mainly due to fear. It's that lack of self-esteem in my work and imposter syndrome. I'm going to draw inspiration from your video today and see if I can conquer my fear of sharing my illustrations online. Fear truly doesn't lead us anywhere, and as you mentioned, even though we might not see the consequences right away, it eventually accumulates, leaving us trapped in a life we don't want. I hope you keep posting videos on your channel, and I can't wait for the next one :)

You’re so cute. I understand, though. I’m a grandma and don’t even like to do FaceTime with my grand kids. I had to work with the public my whole life, so I had to just stop thinking about myself, but I still hate seeing myself in the mirror. 😂

Boy! Can I relate to the message you’ve so eloquently shared. It’s amazing how hard we are on ourselves. I know what it feels like to hate your face and not want to see yourself. I wish you could see yourself the way others see you! I wish I could see myself through other’s eyes. There are definitely consequences for not showing up, def. But I so get it. I cry a lot too and I’m 59. But I work to try every day. ❤

i saw your thirty days walking video first. It just kind of showed up on my feed although I have been trying to walk. Im on day two. Doing 15 mins. I started from this video a lady did and talked about how she lost 180 by walking. She built up to an hour. While I watched your video and before I saw this one, I thought about how pretty you are and how easy to listen to. You have great teeth too

I think confidence of the gifts you have, another words YOU, are the reason for living life the way you want to. There are too many things in life to live for! So many things to eat and places to visit. I was never the best looking or successful but I was always confident and focused on being positive and living life to the fullest. Of course there are failures but it’s the way you come back is what makes who you are. Find positive friends to bounce things off and have a good time. Don’t worry about what others think. You got this!!

I started praying about it for a chance to live the life we were all meant to live...and answers to issues I've had been dealing with. God is not like man,because GOD looks on The Inside,not The outside; I'm so glad that,I was raised in church,and that's that;There are things that's are sacred,sometimes when,I pass by my mirrors,I see my deceased mother,she was a good person,and sometimes,I see others ,I lost on different parts of my face like an eye,and when ,I smile,I could see an deceased brother who ,I learned The smile from watching him smile;We are not our own.

Idk what youre talking about (I understand thought cause I dont like how i look either). But from the first video i saw of you doing the wrap up of the 30 day walking challenge, i HONESTLY, immediately had a crush on you haha. I am taken dont know if you are, just found your channel, but just wanted to let you know that you are attractive ❤ and i think your unmotivated self motivating yourself is very motivating. Im in my early 30s and not feeling so happy about how i look and starting to run out of decent clothes that fit me. Im trying but it's so easy to just sit and make my butt bigger... we our own worst enemy. Gotta change how we look at ourselves to make ourselves our own best friend? I guess? You are gorgeous! 5 seconds in the video and my honest opinion is that this eyeglass shape is very unflattering on you. I had the same glass shape before -felt like i had the glow up of my life when i bought cat eyed/ round big glasses . But then again, i know that's not the point of the video 😥
