As I set my sights on marathon training, I confronted my toughest adversary yet - my own lack of fitness. Facing the daunting prospect of running 26.2 miles with my flabby physique, I knew I had to shed my couch potato status before diving into the grueling marathon regimen.
Going from fat to furious in 8 weeks.

For those that are curious, the app I used is called Couch to 5k Runner by Fitness22. Both available on Android and Apple. However, I will give a disclaimer, it doesn't work well on Android. It felt like I was living the movie "50 First Dates". After a couple days it would forget my data and reset itself. But, unlike Adam Sandler, I wasn't committed to try and keep my relationship going with the app on my Android device. My recommendation is to use the app if you have Apple, if not, find something else comparable on Android. apps.apple.com/ph/app/couch-to-5k-runner/id448357306 Just FYI, the link is NOT affiliated so even if you download it, I won't make any money from it.

Laughing maniacally in the streets after accomplishing that run. I would be way too self-conscious to do that lol But you are an amazing inspiration :) Be kind to yourself. You got this!

He's intense, but it is really amazing what he has accomplished. Not gonna lie, sometimes when I feel like I can't make it, I'll chant to myself "WWDGD" (what would David Goggins do) 🤣

Thank you for spending your precious time with little ol' me. It means a lot. That has been the biggest lesson for me is that fitness is a journey, not a destination. Good luck on yours, my friend!

I've completed C25K twice and it's one of the hardest things I've ever actually seen through to the end. It's also one of my proudest accomplishments. Loved seeing your journey here, you absolutely killed it!

Congrats on completing your challenge and marathon! Great upload. Your videos have been helping me push myself to get back in shape. I dont know if you might find helpful, but one thing thats helped me address my knee and back pain was following some exercise protocols from a book called "rehab science" by Tom Walters. Btw Love your humor. You're doing great! I look forward to seeing your next video!

I used an app called Couch to 5k Runner by Fitness22. Even though the app is on Android, it doesn't work that well on the Android OS. I ended up using my old iPhone to get it to work properly. apps.apple.com/ph/app/couch-to-5k-runner/id448357306
