Nice video! To help with stabilizer rattle, after cleaning off the wire set it down on something flat like back of phone or desk and tap the sides. If it wobbles or taps the surface, the wire is not flat and almost always results in rattle. Bend the wire slightly on the ends where the 90 degree angle is until wire is even and flush with flat surface. Works like a charm everytime!

The Coop Home Goods pillow is phenomenal. It's my go-to gift for my friends or acquaintances. The key is to remove the fill inside the pillow to adjust to your sleep style. But back to the topic, I was looking at the RK68 and it seems like the mod work won't result in the quality sound I'm looking for. You think the Keydous NJ68 is a significant upgrade to the RK68?
@Y__umeko Жыл бұрын
Hey, if you still have this keyboard or to anyone that wants to mod a rk61 keyboard, The stabilizers aren't really secured to the board. I put some double sized tape between the board and the stabilizer. It helped a lot it fikzed the annoying rattle that I couldn't get rid off. :D

I actually bought a royal kludge before I fell into the rabbit hole of mechanical keyboard mods. (Thanks a lot...;D) I knew after watching previous videos of yours that you had used this technique before and thought about doing it to my board since it sounds really hollow and pingy. Lo and behold you're modding on the keyboard I bought lol. I'm not confident in replacing stabilizers yet (the stock ones are really rattlely on the space bar especially), but I do have switch lube, an opener, and your hippo keys coming in soon! Already replaced the switches a week or so ago 😎 Edit: I mean I won't be doing this. It's a fire hazard.
