Shoutout to Mike Taylor. I used to watch his In Bloom part everyday after school and then went to CA and ran into him and some of his friends at skatelab and he noticed I wasn’t taking turns but just watching the older guys skate. He encouraged me to go ahead of him for the stair set there and I remember thinking how cool he was for that. I ended up with a career in real estate and then noticed that he did too. What a coincidence. But of course I STILL skate! 🛹🤟

Mikey was the best! He was the first pro I ever met. It was a Skatelab around 2002. Always approachable with me and my brother who were groms at the time. He always killed the handrail with his nollie tricks. A true inspiration and role model. So sick!
