Hey Chase, I've enjoyed watching Brian work on the bike with you, especially with all the tips he offers. Would it be possible to bring in a new expert each season? That way you learn how to build bikes like a pro, and so do we. Just an idea.

Chase, as an old bodyman/detailer tip oven cleaner is the best to use on wheels powder coated painted whatever it will not attack the paint and will shine like new. I take my blazer muddin and also back road racing so ive coated it with brake dust and dry mud and 3 passes completely cleaned my wheel before soap just make sure to use a wax after for best results. Ive also used this on dirtbike plastics but if you have scratches it will discolor slightly so just watch. But ya oven clean man try it out!

I've loved seeing "Brain" on here, I know I said Motonosity or Dan originally, but I think you picked a better option, More hands on pro and less "wing it", dont get me wrong I love the wing it videos but he is getting so much done with what time you have allotted. A friend showed me a couple years back to clean my rims with wd-40 every time I'd waited to long to clean them, I thought he was crazy till he cleaned my chain grease off in no time at all, lol, its legit, they are clean and shiny.

@calebs54396 жыл бұрын
It is..it doesn't conduct
@mechanicalcanvas6 жыл бұрын
Correct, di-electric grease over those connections will inhibit the electrical connection. Putting it on the inside of the dust boot would help insulate the boot and further keep dust out (as the grease will trap the dust)

Part of me loves the solid advice from Brain in these vids. But I used to laugh SO hard whenever Chase would snap off a bolt in the old vids. We've all been there! At 25:00, Brain totally saved him from boogering that subframe screw. Nice tip about heating the loctite.
