I’ve been watching your videos for years and even though I’m quite a bit older than you (I’m 54), I admire you and look up to you for your drive and confidence. This video doesn’t diminish that one bit. Kinda the opposite actually. I have no idea what it’s like to experience what you’re going through or how to help, but like most of us that follow your stuff, we’re here for you brother. If anyone has the will to figure this out and fucking dominate it, it’s you. Thanks for having the strength to make this video and put it out there. You never know how many people needed to see this and understand that they’re not the only ones. You got this bro, and when you don’t, we’re all here

Fellow men: This is what wisdom and inner strength looks like. The only way to light the fire for research and treatment methods is raising awareness, and that's something all of us can do. Mad respect to you for your determination and your vulnerability. Go put in the work and give it hell.

I've been a silent watcher for years. I'm struggling with a lot of similar things and I have thousands of dollars worth of screen printing equipment that isn't being used. My business is suffering because I can't get my shit together. Thank you for posting this. I feel less "alone" because you had the balls to post this. Thank you. You have been, and continue to be an inspiration for me.

❤ Bro I pray nothing but success for you. I want to see you make it and do well selfishly, because I want to see some of them videos. Otherwise, from the time that I've known you on YT, I want to see you make it and succeed beyond because the knowledge you have is incredible. The final reason people don't realize you can have a million dollars gone tomorrow, but if you take care of your health, it is the number one thing towards riches, good health and support structure, these are the things that make wealthy people wealthy. Whether you have money or not. That struggle is real, but you can overcome it..

Get your B12 levels checked. I've had a panic disorder and Agoraphobia for years. Thought I'd have to live with it for the rest of my life. Got a blood test and my levels were extremely low. My body can't absorb B12 properly. After taking 10,000 mcg worth, daily for 6 months, I got my level up to normal. Changed my life. I barely have any symptoms anymore and can deal with situations A LOT better. Just seems like my body doesn't react anymore to what would normally cause panic. Cheers Edit: I also take 500 mg Magnesium Bisglycinate + D3 daily which has helped too

Fully agree. I had and currently dealing with the same issues and finally went to the doctor to find out that my levels of Vitamin D and Iron are extremely low and causing a lot of issues. Without going into details, all I can say is this is a great start and has helped me as well. Most people are magnesium deficient also.

@@deathtrapindustriesyah bro. I had this for a minute and my insurance was absolute shit. I went into survival mode for a few years and got tired of it. There is a way out of this for sure. I also joined one of those groups. It was cool knowing I wasn't alone but that's all it was.

@@Leadership_matters yeah I totally understand the insurance thing... I was in the same boat for years. It is amazing how something as simple as vitamin deficiency can cause so many issues and nobody seems to know this or puts the info out there.
@Leadership_matters

@@deathtrapindustries my experience was same same different. I was having crazy stomach issues so I couldn't really go anywhere. My GP told me it was nothing for a year. I ended up at the internal medicine guy who told me without hesitating, in my 15 minute appointment, that, "It looks like colon cancer. I want to have some tests with biopsies." I scheduled my appointment immediately ... 3 months later. I hid I side the whole time. F--k me! So I finally go to find out wtf. I have my knees to my chest having a great conversation with a hot Filipino nurse who says everything looks fine. Internal medicine guy says over the phone ... Nope. You're good. But I'm not good. So I go back to my GP who says, "holy crap! This has all been going on for 6 months? At least you lost 40 lbs! No! Not good. I am going to send you to the nutritionist. 2 months later I get in to the nutritionist who looks at my food diary and says, "you are glutamate sensitive and can't eat acidic food." I had to cut out Doritos, ranch, canned soup, most salad dressings, spaghetti factory, and a bunch of other crap and now have an uphill battle against anxiety and fear of being trapped. Why? Because the brain is an evil machine that is not designed to handle the crap we put it through. I did have a crazy vitamin B and D deficiency. They gave me injections and then 50,000iu a day for a while. Did I vent enough?
@ink5961
@ink5961 5 ай бұрын
My story is similar, and also low B12. I'm reading that taking more than 1200 mcg's per day is pointless, but you say you were taking 10,000? I was considering getting shots from the doctor, but could the liquid drops work? Were you taking the drops? If so, my bottle says 1 drop per day, so I could, without issue, take as many as 5-8? I know you're not a doctor, but I appreciate your experience and advice.

I started my own business just to escape the need to interact with others every day. You, as one of my biggest role models, coming forward with this today is so comforting in a sense. I hope you continue to be the biggest advocate for yourself and reach the level of health I know you’ll achieve!

Well done for talking about this, men in particular have a tough time talking about it. I am going through pretty much the same right now. Mine kicked off again in 2020, I had to deal with an awful lot then we had the pandemic. My life changed beyond recognition that year and I wasn't in control of any of it. I am in the UK and the NHS is completely broken so there is no help on offer and I can't afford private. If it wasn't for my art I don't think I would be here now. Sending you good vibes and best wishes. Once again well done for talking about this. x

So you made me tear up... This is so brave and you are not alone, and this video has made me realize I am not alone too. Thank you for sharing and I am sorry to hear of your struggles, but glad to hear about your strength in this! You keep pushing forward and you should be proud of that. I have watched your videos throughout the years, wanting to get into screen printing and went as far as buying some equipment but I stopped at my first attempt to print.. felt defeated. I have been struggling with depression, brain fog, fatigue, lack of motivation due to perimenopause since 40 ( I am 47 now), this has effected my creative work, my motivation to do anything creative and I gave up, if this is what perimenopause looks now for me, I am afraid how I will feel when I hit full blown menopause, I feel like I am going crazy now. I recently went to see if I can get Hormonal therapy, but was told this is normal process and it's a part of aging. I cry all the time because my hormones are all over the place...I am considering going back to school in January to change my career all together because I no longer feel creative to continue my graphic design career...it saddens me because I used to have such a passion for it. Still struggling through it, trying to stay consistent with exercise and vitamins but it's a challenge. I do plan on getting a second opinion from another doctor soon. Thanks for this video, it gave me some kind of encouragement to keep my head up.

I really appreciate you making this video. You’re a beacon of inspiration in the print world and it’s really easy to look up to someone who seemingly “has it all” on a screen every week and compare myself to your journey. This really helps put things into perspective that everyone struggles with something. My mental health struggles aren’t exactly the same as yours but they’ve definitely held me back from where I could be in business right now. We all focus on things differently, we’ve watched you put in the fucking work in your shop for years and I’m glad you’re taking the time to put that work into yourself now. You only have one you. Take the best care of yourself that you can. Definitely looking forward to any updates you share.

Hi Lee. Thankyou for sharing your story. I wanted to respond to you and anyone else out there who is struggling with Anxiety and depression to say, it does fix itself. I have been through it and have come out the other side. I didn't take medication, I didn't take on therapy, and when I was going through it there wasn't anyone that could help me. No one understood, and there wasn't anyone to talk to. I just tried to look after myself as best I could, eat healthy, exercise (as difficult as it was) and eventually the chemicals in my brain balanced themselves out. Anxiety is still with me, but in much more manageable form. When I feel it creeping up I make sure to increase my aerobic exercise (cycling) and this helps enormously. I will say it again: it does go away. And you don't have to put yourself in any type of extreme situation to force it to happen. The only pressure I put on myself was to do aerobic exercise and that seemed to work for me. With cycling you can start small, ride around the block, and increase the distance as you feel more comfortable. And you are in control of when you return back home. You are breathing in fresh air and getting a good dose of Vitamin D at the same time. There is no cost, no gym memberships or having to travel to a place to do the exercise. Its free and "freeing". If anyone needs to chat, send me a message.

Lee thank you for sharing about your personal mental health. Whats great is you are taking steps to figure out and help yourself. I have a brother Corey who currently lives in Canada who has a very similar experience as you have been having. I think it has been about 7 years for him. He has done motocross for most of his life and has been in many accidents. Literally one day had a panic attack and went to the er because of it. His body did not cease up but from then on he would not leave the house he constantly had attacks. His heart rate would shoot so high and back to the er he would go. He worn heart monitors multiple times throughout the years to try and catch when he has an attack but every time he wore the heart monitor the attack seem to never come. To this day he has done everything possible to try and figure out how to fix it. He has had CT scan, MRIs of his entire body several times including his brain. He just recently got in contact with a neurologist and been doing therapy with a physiotherapist. He had never done any type of physical therapy after breaking his back years ago. He’s also had blood work done to see if or what he was deficient in and b12 apparently is what he was deficient on and he said that he can tell it’s been making a difference with how dizzy he had been feeling. Obviously everybody’s situation is different and it will take a while and a lot of work for you to figure out what’s going on with your body and brain, but I feel like hearing other peoples situation that is similar might help you go in a certain direction. You have a lot of people on here that admire you and will help you and I’m sure there are people in here that are in contact with the right type of people that can help you figure out what’s going on. I don’t know anything about panic attacks personally, but if I had to think about where they would come from, I would say the brain is a good place to start. I feel like everything comes from the brain and to me the brain is the heart of the body. You will figure it out and it will take time and patience. But you are in the right mindset for it and you have been for a long time. You just need to direct it towards your health like you said.

Bro I went through stuff like this for almost a decade. Look into the treatments for complex trauma disorder. We gotta be exposed to these things that can cause us to go into these types of mental states to reprogram ourselves to respond as if it’s okay. There’s this book called the body keeps the score I believe and the author really goes into detail about how the culmination of traumatic experiences in our lives basically conditions us. Our nervous system remembers the traumas even if we don’t remember them ourselves. When exposed to things even slightly similar our nervous system responds and puts us into that fight or flight mode producing that anxiety that’s so bad and lasts so long that your body physically starts to hurt and that impending doom feeling.

Thanks for sharing Lee. I have a good friend who reminds me of you in many ways. Like you he is extremely bright, learns new software very fast, always working on and developing new ideas and patents. He is entirely self taught and just a great guy all round. Like you he struggles with similar mental health issues. I was not aware for years until he shared his condition with me. I respect him even more today as I do you buddy! Keep your chin up and keep moving forward both physically and mentally. Hope to meet you one day. Big fan!

I can't begin to image how hard this video was for you to make dude, but I'm in awe. You've shared tiny amounts of your struggles on IG but we had no idea how deep it went. No doubt you've also empowered so many others with your story. Those people will relate and, who knows, maybe this is a start of a support community! They'll want to join you on your journey to living a life almost free of mental struggles. Top man Lee, I wish you nothing but the best 👊

Lee, I understand the panic attacks too well! The stress of building a business can exacerbate it because it’s all we focus on, the pressure we place on ourselves and the level of perfection we try to reach. It’s also the burden we bear as creatives. Small trips doing things I look forward to has helped. Moments in nature can help as well as gut health. I’ve watched your videos since you started and you have helped so much! I was just telling a rep how your videos, the way you film, the troubleshooting and sharing your journey has been instrumental. In fact, we just got our first automatic! Thank you for sharing this part of yourself with us and know you are not alone. You got this, one day at a time!
