I don’t think Dodie will ever understand what she’s done for me. She made me figure out what my derealization was and that I wasn’t going crazy. she’s made me feel a little less alone living with this mental disorder. I've watched her grow as a person, and I've grown with her to. I know this is such a cliche, but seriously, dodie has been so important in making me the person I am today. When I started listening to her music I was 12, this year I will be 19. I had the privilege to go through my formative years with her beautiful, inspiring music. I've basically grown up with your videos, weird as that sounds. I started out as an insecure 14 year old who had no idea who they were and what they wanted in life.
