I think Mad Ship and Ship of Magic are about same level for me too!

Congrats to your dad on the double master's degrees! I'm glad you enjoyed The Haunting of Tram Car 015. Sush and I just started Master of Djinn and are loving it so far. The history and world building are so cool.

Glad to see anothe of your videos. I've got The Shadow of What was Lost, but have yet to pick it up. Now, I'm going to put a higher priority on it. I'm finishing up on the Wheel of Time (again). I'm nearing the halfway point with Towers of Midnight...so, this series may be my go to, before I start the next reread of the WoT series in prep for the TV series dropping in the Fall (around Black Friday, from what I hear). Survive the Night is highly anticipated, for sure. When it comes out, I will be getting to it immediately. Thanks for this Vlog. Talk to you, later. PS - I'm also reading Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. I'm only 12% into it, but I've had a grin on my fact the entire time I've been reading it. Its humour just cracks me up. It is a White Room adventure. He is learning who he is along with the reader. Hilarious.

Jade - I think I mentioned during the live show, but I agree with your assessment pretty much 100% on The Shadow Of What Was Lost. It definitely left me wanting more but wasn’t perfect.. but OMG. I just finished An Echo of Things To Come and it was AMAZING! I am DYING for someone else to finish it so we can talk. I even went and the first one back out of the library and am making my husband read it so that we can talk about it!

From the Mad Ship trilogy, I remember the second one was my favourite, but I think it terms of whole enjoyment this series is pretty homogeneous. I don't know if I'm clear though :o

Interesting that you compared The Shadow of What was Lost to Lightbringer. I really want to read both series! I've only read Final Girls by Riley Sager and really liked it. I would love to read his other books but it's always the same problem, too many books and not enough time.

I was so happy during the Licanius liveshow, can't wait to hear your thoughts on Book 2! Any thoughts on when you'll be picking it up? There's no rush, I'm just debating doing a reread. :)

I just finished book 2! OMG. 😂 I need to take a minute before I pick up book 3 so I’m going to read something else as a palate cleanser but after that ending I’m not going to be able to wait much longer!!
