The offset of the doors is on purpose, it protects the edge of the door panel from stones hitting.

Although these PPF wraps cost thousands think £1grand for bonnet and 5grand for whole car. If I could afford a GT3 RS I would use it, as offers a lot of protection, but stone chips still can happen (See Shmee 150 yellow Black series). Was very enjoyable to watch Matt’s wrap effort and reaction to finished product.

Just got my 1999 1.0 fiesta wrapped with these guys. The transformation is unreal. Also went with the gold race decals down the side and ofc had all the carbon bits coated. Such a transformation. I even coated the cigarette lighter, bonza! can't wait to take it back home and do the big reveal!

Good to preserve the factory paint and trim with ppf and glasscoating. After that just enjoy the car and drive the heck out of it Matt. This is a car to keep forever but no garage queen please. Enjoy it!

Matt, I used to work for a Porsche dealership. When the 997 first came out, we received one with a damaged info screen. Couldn't work out what had happened to it. Once we took it out, you could see the jab points of where the delivery driver had prodded it with a Bic Biro to change settings. GULP!!!

Xpel PPF is like a glass finish I’ve had it on my own cars and I believe it’s one of the best out there if not the best. I’ve also seen it on other cars and never found any issues with it. I’m a pedantic kind of guy. And I rate it up there with the best. Especially when it’s installed correctly…. I’ve seen all sorts of PPF fitted and believe me some installs are beyond shocking. As with everything the product is only as good as the install….

PPF is an incredible thing and well worth it for peace of mind from stone chips and worse..! I am a PPF installer (as well as detailer) . Its a very satisfying job (and at times frustrating one!) People spend £50 on a case and screen protector for a £800 phone but seem to not want to spend an equal proportion on a car - when there are all manner of downsides if you don't. Resprays are often poor quality, the PPF protects your original finish and for many people keeping the factory paint job is a very valuable thing. It also makes it much easier to clean and even offers protection from vandalism...! So it's very much recommended in my book. Although I typically recommend only doing track pack, on most cars, full car coverage on cars to this value makes complete sense. Another benefit of PPF is that it covers and hides swirl marks completely. 😎

Matt I would recommend getting the frunk lined with some sort of PPF protection - the amount of times something inadvertently goes in and scratches when it moves around whilst driving was unbelievable when I got my Cayman.

I always regret not getting my RS6 in the satin grey but it just added so much time to my order which still took 12 months. Ended up going with Sebring Black which looks great for the 7 seconds its clean.

I love everything and good thought to protect the car with PPF. However, there is one thing I do not like in cars. Sideskirts and door decals. I would prefer the side of the car to be plain and simple.
