A lot of (if not all) super/hypercar manufacturers are like this. They're highly selective with whom can buy what - us plebs could buy the more common models if we wanted but the rarer and more exclusive models are reserved for those they choose are worthwhile. Ferrari is notoriously pretentious and bad in this area, you have to first have owned enough of their cars to be considered, but even then it's just a who's who of their richest clients that are even invited to buy one of the rare limited run models that will only appreciate in value.

I like the Gold decals, and the Satin PPF. I also fully appreciate your influence but , and this is more for some people who don't understand the way Porsche work, also very frustrating to many people who wanted a GT3 RS, but didn't get one! Despite a long history of purchasing Porsches - (which, if you random KZbin comment readers weren't aware, you cannot just buy a GT3/RS - you often need to be one of the dealers top usually 2-3 customers) This means buying a Macan for your wife, a Boxster for your son/daughter, a 911 for you, and changing cars every 18 months to 2 years, for 4-5 years, before you can even get onto the list. I am glad however, that you are using your car, and doing a few little mods and tweaks etc - I quite like the changes you have made, subtle but different - Many of these unfortunately sit in garages or are used as commodity trading things (basically, it's a way to get £100k+ tax free profit for the loyal Porsche customers). Enjoy !!!

Residuals are strong for Porsches in general and especially GT cars. As long as you take care of it and don’t damage it (curb a $5k wheel) it will hold value. That is great for money spent on a car. That said, it is NOT a good investment. Let’s say you sell it for what you paid in seven years. Basically your cost is maintenance and interest on your loan and having the money tied up. Clearly $250k invested over seven years likely would be $500k. Interest and opportunity cost would likely be about $300k over seven years. But the experience of owning and driving that is priceless.

why where you even allowed to buy one you dont have a history of buying loads of cars from them.

Everything that's wrong with car culture today in a single video. Nice job!

Yea it's awful imo, but some people appear to be lapping it up. Watching endless videos of titivating, talking about values, stickers and seatbelts.

Great car Matt but really sorry to say for me the decals should go…… everyone can see what it is….. they’re a bit like oversized logos on puffer jackets!!!

I did this to and its like a no brainer to do to tese cars. It really transforms the throttle response

Anyone who buys anything for the sake of flipping it deserves to lose all the value on whatever they bought. In the pandemic people bought hand sanitizer and toilet paper by the loads to either hoard it or sell it at tripple the price. Yes a car is not the same, but at the end of the day you are ripping someone off just because you bought it 1st.

Sorry Mat, I agree that the gold decals do not look good and they are barely visible. Needs to be a darker colour to stand out.

Matt did the worst spec possible, then did even worse to it after delivery. What did you all expect?

knowing he can get $200k over what he paid for it, I think that helps. 385 is low. Ive seen 8 on FB for 450-550.

The silver one is definitely better looking than the black. In general though, it is a masterpiece for the track, but soo overkill on the road.
