A year ago found my old pastels (from A level Art) and did try them out, but I'm still not sure about them 🤣 still prefer watercolour. Beautiful landscape Josie 😊

I like the results that other artists have when they combine watercolour with pastels, but I haven’t tried them because I really hate the feeling of rubbing my finger on the page to smudge them. The texture has always bothered me sooooo much. I completely understand your fingernails on a chalkboard reference.

I've always wondered about using soft pastels with watercolor and now I have my answer. Let us know what you decide to use for a fixative Sounds interesting, not that I need any more art supplies at the moment but..... Thanks!
