It happens in actual.hospitals all the time too because... Gasp... There are multiple patients in rooms down any given hallway. They need medical help as well, half the people running to the room would be sent away because they don't need a dozen doctors and nurses for one patients emergency unless there's a surgery that lasts like 20 hours. For a person coding, A few people would be in the room and others would be prepping for emergency surgery in case it is needed. The rest of the staff on the floor would be helping other patients or performing their normal duties. So a couple people in scrubs walking the other way is not suspicious.

well, not everything is black and white, and reacher has proven plenty of times to *good* people, he's got a heart of gold and does what he thinks is best to keep them safe, or goes through hell and high water to protecc or avenge them. season 1 exemplifies this cuz the villians are COMPLETELY irredeemable. for fucks sake, they had one dude crucified and castrated, to send a message, and another dude was forced to watch his wife get tortured to death with mirrors all around and his eyes taped open so he literally, couldnt look away even if he wanted to. season 2...is...well, i havent seen ALL of it, but this dude was not innocent, and was going to either shoot, or kill a child, and if there's anyone reacher will show zero mercy to, its someone who harms children. the methods were definitely fucked up, but he's not a goody two shoes and is basically delivering the same kind of pain that this man's victims could/would have felt. eye for an eye i suppose. this is when they kinda start veering away from the books though, as well, so this one is KIND of...well. unnecessary. ill agree on that lol
