Met my father last year for the first time. We talk 2 or 3 times a week. We are exactly alike. And both very funny. We talk for about an hour each time and we just banter and crack ourselves up. It's really wonderful.

When she said, “I’m right here, and I’m not going anywhere.” That got me crying, I don’t know why, it was just a huge wave of emotion because my dad left nine years ago and now I’m eleven, I don’t know if I should wait for him to come back but I know that I’ll find out what I should to eventually, I’m really happy for both of them to finally meet each other and have a happy ending. 😊💕

Just study in school and be ready for college, so when you do meet him, he'll be proud of how much you have accomplished and sorry he missed out on so much. You mother needs to get a lawyer and find you father so he pays child support for you, as you deserve that monthly financial support.
@kathymiller94622 жыл бұрын
@@Jibbie49 Having a FATHER in a child's life is WAY more important than MONEY (child support). I did it all on my own, they were my responsibility. For the rest of my life I've been able to brag that I raised them without financial help from anyone or any organization AND.... Dad could still be Dad. Father figures are so important.... just as much as a Mother figure. I would never take that away from any child. I don't know (and probably don't care) what the stats are but I think a lot of guys walk because of being nailed with child support. js

Giving him up never crossed my mind but at that age at times I felt overwhelmed today he’s a handsome teenager I got 2 other kids finished college got married so ladies do what u got to do I respect those who give their child up in search of a better life I also give mad props for those young mothers who make that sweet lemonade with lemons

This is the sad part in his letter he stated "I promise to be a good son" meaning he felt he was a bad son for her to have given him up for adoption. Not to mention he has grown to have abandonment issues. My heart hurts for him. I've worked in day care for 15 years and each sad face I've seen on a child being picked up by CPS is by far the worst facial expression there can be on a child. So, I kindly ask those who know they are incapable of caring for a child please USE PROTECTION there's all kinds out there in this world. Children shouldn't have to suffer your stupidity ESPECIALLY if they knew all along they weren't going to be able to take care of child.

I love watching these videos. I too was adopted by my grandparents. My biological father was an American soldier stationed in Canada. I always knew his name. My biological mother said that he was single but I didn’t want to take the chance to find him just in case he was married. My mother was 16 when she had me. I have now later in life learned he has passed on. I did hear through dna that I have a half sister and two brothers. I don’t know how to contact them. I do have one brother is name. Maybe someday I will get the nerve to try to find them. I’m afraid of rejection.
