From a dentist working on the other side of the world - great job doc! You have a wonderful chairside personality. The thing that impressed me the most was that you encouraged him to brush his teeth and use a miswaak rather than trying to get him to just brush instead. That shows that you are willing to be partners with your patients and that you respect cultural and religious traditions along with good oral health practice. Showing that respect to patients really helps build good relationships and trust, which is so important when caring for people who are not used to being in the dental chair. This is very important especially for a patient who can be scared or worried because it's the first time he goes to a dentist. For some like myself it's both because of a phobia and abuse from a dentist. At 4 years old a grown man and his assistants would choke and hold me down with their full weight until I'd pass out then continue working with hardly and pain blockers due to being on poor people's state service and all my parent cares about was making use of the free care. Theres stories of bad doctors who removed 80% of teeth during a cleaning and xray visit. Look up dentist from hell Inside Edition

I always hated and feared the dentist growing up (I am 68) because dental techniques could be quite painful and brutal years ago. But today dentists have much better pain medications and treat their patients with much more sensitivity and compassion. My dentist today is wonderful! I actually look forward to seeing her. I love the dentist explaining every step of the way. I remember going to the dentist the first time in 13 years as an adult and I was very scared. Now I am at a level that I see my dentist every 4 months and am very comfortable getting treatments. I didn't even need to be sedated for a filling for the first time last year! I love the way the dentist took time to explain everything to him. You can see Chaudhary is nervous yet amazed. I had the wire braces back in the 80s in school. I played American football and during the seasons broke the braces several times. Once my mouthpiece was stuck and I had to go get it dislodged. Funny memories. God bless Chaudhary and his family.

What a wonderful video! Please do more videos like this as he goes through the later visits to clean up his cavities. I hope the dentist reassures him that the procedures may be a bit uncomfortable but not too painful. If you could opt for putting him under anesthesia, I'd willingly chip in a few bucks. I smiled the entire time watching this! Chaudhary is my favorite! I love his gentle nature and how he always wants to share things with his wife and kids. Such a loving soul. I get so excited for him to try new things. Im so glad he is being blessed in so many ways. He deserves it! 🥰
