There's a mention of forbidden apple(like in the story of Adam and Eve) in the lyrics. I read an interview about Taemin explaining that he himself is the forbidden apple and tempting you(listener) to fall for him. Taemin is an amazing artist, you definitely should check out more about his solo stuff. My top 3 recommendations are Danger, Press your number and MOVE. I really enjoyed and loved your reaction :))). Deacs asked for visually appealing mvs and Good Evening is probably one of their most aesthetic mvs and it's also a great song. I think their newer music is a good place to start with recommendations since a lot of their older music may not appeal to newer Kpop fans. In no way is this person trying to exclude Jonghyun. I've been a Shawol for 10 years and would also probably recommend Good Evening to start. Doesnt mean I wouldn't want Deacs to experience SHINee with all 5 members.

taemin is just THAT powerful. if you had subtitles on (wondered myself why you turned them off again when you wanted to check the 'hot hot' thing), you would have probably understood a lot more. the song is literally all about seduction - taemin himself said that he wants to leave his fans wanting more off him. the original title of this song was also, if i recall correctly, sex flow which says A LOT. if i know anyone else who can make the shoulder nudge thing look good? some of course, but taemin is just overall in an entirely different league. he's considered one of the best dancers in the kpop Industry, if not THE best. i don't know a single bad song shinee's maknae has released, but if you want to react to more mv's of him, i'd defenitely recommend Move (probably his most iconic one and you'll really see why), Danger (his solo debut which set a milestone, really, him being SM's first solo artist). If you're looking for more dance heavy mv's, Thirsty, but especially Drip Drop are really videos you chould check out then. and if you're ever interested in dance practices as well, make sure to check taemin's out that are available. pure art for every kind of eye. thank you so much for reacting to him, i'm also really excited for next videos. take your time and don't rush yourself, kpop community tends to easily overwhelm people^^

And his song style is best describe as subtle controlled sexy because he is probably the only one who can do this while looking hot. There are a lot of symbols of temptation, references to original sin, and the lyrics allude to these things as well. Taemin is pure seduction. While he has the skills to pull off the most difficult choreo, he tends to use his abilities in a way that is more hypnotic and leaves viewers feeling like they've caught a glimpse of something they weren't supposed to see but now can't live without.

This may be a little long, but it's my analysis about this video ;) I think that this music video clearly reffers to the original sin. If we focus on the lyrics first : it's all about desire and temptation, as the forbidden fruit (apple) is mentionned. Now let's pay attention to the visual effects. The main colors are red, black and white, probably a link to hell and blood, red also represents passion and desire. The light effects as well as the smoke make us think about hell too. Taemin is often accompanied with snakes, these represent the form under wich the devil tempted Eve and then Adam until they eat the apple. At o:37 of the music video, it seems that Taemin and the dancers are in a church. About the visual effect that starts at 1:13, people appearing behind him are like condamned soul burning in hell. At 1:38, we can think that Teamin is surrounded by fire (only lasts 1 seconds). Is the cross at 2:03 refering to the religion ? And finally, at 3:03, the huge door on the background is a sculpture by Rodin called "door to hell". Taemin is a strong believer, the link between him and the religion may appear in his music videos. Well as you can see... the body roll you were pointing out... he was moving like a snake, and then when he came in on the second verse as he was singing, her hissed on the first word (where you paused to talk about the lights)... perhaps that’s why they added the snakes...
