Scammers have called me about this and many other Scams. I like the one where they called me and told me that my social security number has been used for laundering money lol . I always tell him a different name different address and then they start running all that down to me after about 10 minutes telling me if I make a payment to the deputies that could stop me from being arrested blah blah blah. I will tell them there's no such thing as any warrants on me or any social security number of mine out there that my name isn't even the name I gave them they hang up on me. Instant classic. Beware of text message scams. Got my first one yesterday 7/19/22 from a particular bank stating that my debit card was frozen because of "suspicious" activity. And, to reactivate log on to the web address provided...The kicker is that I don't have an account or card from said bank.
