@junkyardwillie83203 жыл бұрын
I have no prior military experience, but I was going to say the same thing. My backpacks from probably about middle school on up usually weighed well over 20 pounds, but i was all right. Even having to carry them while walking a few miles in the arizona summer heat definitely would made me prefer not to have to carry them, but still, i would expect somebody from a military background to be able to handle that better than me
@333devilmidget83 жыл бұрын
@@junkyardwillie8320 yeah, on the west coast in california, 60 pound+ packs were the norm, once it was around 80, and california is very hilly, and I don't think any hide was less than 2 hours, some 4+, so though freezing rain would make any hike miserable, 20 pound would be a literally walk in the park
