Hey I am from India and in India there is not proper people who do psychotherapy and has a much knowledge of chronic pain and just because of increasing time pain pathways are becoming strong so how can I help of myself in this,pls tell?

Hey! I would focus on reducing fear around the pain anytime it comes on or flares up - that way the pathways aren’t becoming reinforced. It is fear and preoccupation with the pain that keeps the pain-fear cycle fuelled. In terms of working with a psychotherapist, you can access support online and through video call - you would just have to navigate the difference in timezone! And finally, please don’t think by not working with a psychotherapist that, that means you’re getting worse, people in pain for decades have sometimes healed within weeks, and you don’t need to work with someone to heal - the cure is inside you
