They can't afford to tell their customers to wait two months for the storm to pass. From what I hear, I don't think that they even trying to make new purchases. They're just trying to clear out their current stocks, so they can hold on to more cash. That's why they refer Tyler's car to the wholesale buyer.

I enjoy your personality and your channel, and just had to say congratulations to you and your wife on the soon to arrive child. I want to share my brief story with you, to put some things in perspective for both of us, and perhaps whomever reads this. I'm a 50 year old guy who grew up loving cars. My tastes were a bit more plebeian, I went for the American muscle cars made 20 years or so before I could drive them legally. I'm talking about early Camaros, Chevelles, Chargers, Challengers, Mustangs - like the one you have now - and then pretty much anything with a big V8. I was a pretty good self-taught backyard mechanic, butchering cars to see how they worked, swapping parts and whole engines around, slathering Bondo over rust, I went through the whole "pop rivet" phase before I had any welding equipment, etc etc. It's been a 34 year learning curve for me, and sure I'm reasonably capable for an amateur these days, not nearly as informed or capable on modern cars as your friend the Car Wizzard is. A year ago, I owned two cars; a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis that I drove every day, and a 1969 Mercury Montego, a car very similar to the Cyclone. (You can see it in my list of videos I've uploaded). I owned the '69 Montego for about ten years, and I had to sell it to pay off some debts and work from home, because my father started needed more and more looking after. I really miss that car, it was my one and only "hoopdie" for a decade and a lot of me was in that car. Well, my dad gave up driving, and gave me his car because he knows I " like cars". It's a 2001 Mercury Sable. Yes, a Sable. America's most common car of the 2000's along with its sister car the Taurus - two models that will never be resurrected as muscle cars or antiques. Well, dad's Sable had a few dents, it had damage to the front bumper cover, and one very rusty fender. Just that fender, the rest of the car was remarkably rust free. Since June of 2019, as a hobby in my spare time, I acquired parts off local junkyard cars, parts from Craigslist, and even replacement Chinese headlight assemblies. I painted the parts I replaced, and put the old girl back together. The interior was always nice. Leather, console shift automatic, I've always liked the interior of those cars. When I was nearly done, my Grand Marquis' factory plastic intake manifold started warping and belching antifreeze. I didn't have the money for the repair, so I parked the car in my garage and registered the even older Sable. I am truly proud to drive it, which flies in the face of even MY thinking 2 years ago. But I take pride in fixing cars for cheap, when there's my time blood sweat and tears in the thing it's hard not to be proud. The original factory cassette deck works. I use one of those adapters and connect my phone to play my mp3's through the car's stereo - which has a pretty damn good sound. The original almost 20 year old factory air conditioning still works. (Car has only 74k miles). The point to all this is this: It IS possible to attain the same warm emotions and genuine satisfaction that you have in your fine collection of far more valuable automobiles by fixing up just one shitbox and having a decent ride that you enjoy and can be proud of on a true shoestring budget. You're way up there in the Lambo, Rolls and Farrari zone, and here I am proud of my one-man show FrankenSable. I'm truly just happy to still have a working car the way my life is going. The next time you anguish over whether to buy at $100K+ or sell at a $20k loss or worse, remember me. Remember all the little guys and gals out there. Your hubcaps are worth more than my car....but I have the same smile on my face that I've seen on yours. Keep up the good work, and congrats again on the baby. Cheers, -Greg

What is the fascination with hoarding lavatory paper on the off chance you may get what is basically flu. I've had flu, and it doesn't kill you. At least I don't think I'm dead. And another thing. Flu doesn't increase the amount of faeces you produce, it just changes the consistency from a solid to a liquid. The amount of required visits to the lavatory are the same as when you don't have flu, as is the amount of lavatory paper required. So panic buying every yard of lavatory paper you can get your hands on is utterly pointless. Not to mention bloody selfish and deeply annoying to those of us who are not frightened little snowflakes and only want to buy one pack of 4 rolls.
