You decide to check it out one lunch period, you walk in and you’re greeted by a man hovering and T-posing, you immediately feel uncomfortable but you decide to go with it because it’s a new place and you’re tired of eating at the same restaurants every day. You sit down in one of the mismatched tables and look at the menu, then before you even order, you hear from the kitchen “Hey there it’s Josh and welcome back to Let’s Game it Out.” You don’t know why but you immediately feel a sense of dread. Probably because your name is Grace. Before you have a chance to flag the t posing waiter down, you hear a ding from the counter and see a plate of something unholy emerge, a tube of fish and a line of salt. But there’s also a stack of basil leaves on it. You don’t even have time to protest before the waiter uses his telepathy to move the plate to your table. Now you’re faced with an impossible choice. Get up and run away and hope you can make it to the door in time or sit there and eat it. Why did you have to come to this restaurant?

It's not actually T-posing. I can't explain it as well as my animator and graphical artist buddies could but the short version is something along the lines of: T-posing easily causes odd stretching around the shoulders so in modern game development A-posing is used instead. It is a pose closer to the normal state of a character.
