I'm a woods guy, ride a whole mix of terrain. X31 front is the only front tire i want to use at this point, it works great everywhere and has replaced the M59 for me.

Same here, I race hard scramble and the Bridgestone x-31 is the only tire that I ride.
@coreyneil121Ай бұрын
I ride similar conditions just wondering what width you are running on your front, 80 or 90? I've used mx53 which seemed pretty decent, haven't felt super confident on the mx34 front, I found that it wasn't grabbing and turning in like the mx53, I'm going to try an x31 front just wanted some advice on width preference
@ivnepeАй бұрын
I use the 90 for hard scramble and black jack enduro whit moose balls

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these tires. Be interesting to see how Bridgestones perform at other tracks.

I absolutely loved the mx33 and have been a diehard Dunlop fan for over 20 years. Honestly I really dislike the MX34 front. It’s super pushy in the corners and i can’t seem to get it to sit nicely in the rut and generally doesn’t inspire confidence. I think the tapered knobbies are a really bad design and they should just go back to square. Appreciate this review JW, it’s encouraged me to try something different 👍

i agree with ever single thing you've written here. Ive even moved to a 110 just to stay on the 33 platform. gonna be a sad day when those are all gone too

I jumped off the Dumlops om my 450r and tried the x31 for a couple years - was very surprised and happy with them. I think they're very comparable to the Dunlop equivalent. but I will say I tried the Pirelli scorpions this summer and I believe that's the tire I'll be running for the future. was very happy with the wear and how they hooked up . I did think the x31 lasted a little longer than the Dunlops

I have run the old X30 front and X40 rear for as long as they have been in production. I ride moto and offroad in all conditions and this combo is the best "do it all" combo I have ever tested

I was all Bridgestone with the 404/403 set up. I'd still buy them if they made them. The X30 line was a step back in the right direction and the X31 both front and rear are great for me. The fronts will push a little in wet downhill off cambers, but everything does.

X20 and X30... the best tyres I raced on my motorbikes. Never had better rear tyre as Bridgestone 👍 has some much traction, not loosing back to the drifts.

Loved the Dunlop D756, best tire ever. When the MX51 and MX31 came out, they were pretty bad. I tried, and really liked the Bridgestone M403/M404 and used them on everything. When the X30 came out, I was really anxious to try them. Rode the bike once, hated them, took them off and threw them away. Switched to Dunlop, who made big improvements in the Geomax series, and haven't felt the need to spend my own dime to try out the Bridgestone Battlecross X31. It would be nice if tires were released when ready, and not when Marcom dictates, because both Dunlop and Bridgestone have released some pretty poor tires that were worse than what they replaced.

I actually just picked up a set of battlecross 30s and have ran them before, the back tire hooks up real good especially coming out of ruts. I was gonna do the mx 34s but they are roughly 120$/ tire. I've been running Bridgestones for the last few years after switching from Dunlops. Tried Pirelli and Maxxis in between but nothing has come close to the Bridgestones. X31 front and X20 rear has been my go to combo. I've found the X10 to be really good on a track that is a 50/50 between scoop and no scoop but not even close to a MX14 in deep sand

I run the x31 front. It’s very good on a worn in, intermediate track. Not as good as MX3s on fresh prep or soft track. Mx34 rear has taller center knobs, gets more drive in deeper conditions. I basically only run an mx34 rear now.

Hey Jeff, looking good out there i def gotta get a pair of these when i get my new bike! First though i have a few questions currently i have my suzuki rmz 250 for sale and once it sells i am getting a 2022 Gas gas 250 (standard edition not Factory edition) with 11 hours for 5500 from a friend! Do you feel like it would be track ready ? its completely stock except for the mode 2 mapping button, but i see a lot of people saying its more so a glorified trail bike and that you cant get fast on a gas gas 250 that its more a beginner bike? can you give opinion on this ? I appreciate the content and would love to know how you feel about what i said about the 250s not being track bikes (suspension apparently too soft, and bike not too fast)
