My wife just got me a 2022 KX250f on Saturday as my Bday present. One lucky guy she almost gave me a heart attack 😂 Surprised the ish out me with it too. Anyway, love the bike awesome it’s been a while since I had a dirtbike. The last one I had was in 2003 and that was a 2001 KTM 300 EXC.

@@DerekHallman no issues so far, has been a great bike. Have only ridden it with the aggressive white map plug in it. Have you you tried out the green or black plug yet? If you have Is it a noticeable difference between them? Any issues with yours? Thanks for the videos, always puts a smile on my face!

@@SteezyMcneezy I bought the different colored plugs on eBay and tested them out they definitely all feel different! I generally prefer the green one (that's what I used in this video) because the throttle response feels smoother/less jerky, but the white one feels better on deeper sand tracks

Kawasaki and the other manufacturers put alot of research and development into the engine on these race bikes. When you make changes, such as an exhaust, you may actually make your bike slower. The staff at fmf and pro circuit build pipes for sound and looks. If you ask them for a horsepower chart they cant produce it because they don't even test it.

Derek my man the foot pegs are adjustable and so are the bars. i prefer Renthal 996 really makes the cockpit perfect and mx34s are game changing on the kx models

I tried to move the footpeg mounts to the lower position but Kawasaki threads suck so bad I can't get the bolts in without stripping it lol

Fun fact. Kawasaki is the only bike you can lower the foot pegs on (to my knowledge) you can unbolt the brackets and lower them makes the bike 1000x better in my opinion. Also get some titanium foot pegs. Well worth the money

Titanium pegs are better? Why? Seems like a lot of money for very little gain in weight/strength to me, I’ve never had a problem with stock pegs.

@@cw3728 the width and sharpness is what makes them worth it. Feet stick to the pegs a lot better gives a lot more confidence to ride on the balls of your feet

If thats the 24 its the same motor as the 23. And the 23 makes more power, more torque, revvs higher, and has longer gears than the 21. They updated the motor in 23 so id guess the 24 is the exact same motor. Soooo.... idk what the difference would be over the 23. The only thing people say is the bottem end had slightly less power but for a split second. Once ur off the bottem it pulls hard and revs to the moon. But yea. I got a 23 and that thing flys. I had a 19 as well and its definitely faster than that was.

My bike in this video is a 21. I test rode a friends 23 in a previous video and it had noticeably less bottom end power. I was shocked how slow it felt off the bottom. He had a full pro circuit pipe and the white coupler on it which I believe may have made it run a little too lean down low causing lack of power. That's my only guess why it felt so much slower.

@DerekHallman yea I had a 19 and I just rode my nephews 17 the other day to help him over some train tracks. The 23 I have Def has alot more mellow bottom but I'm pretty sure it's the longer gearing. They do build power once ur off the bottom. It makes the cornering easier in 3rd and 2nd since its not as barkey. Just gotta use the clutch a bit more on the 23 to get the power on bottem, but once u get up off the bottom end it rips mid and top. N it revs to the moon.

that depends on what class you're planning on racing in. I think 150s are not allowed in the 125 class. That being said, the 150 is awesome and definitely recommend it.
